Man, that Coyotes game was a pisser! No chemistry, couldn’t win a faceoff, and I could tell the Hawks were fired up after Saturday’s loss. It would have been nice to see the winning streak go to 10 (which would’ve been a franchise record), but sigh ye can’t win em all. Worst case, we get stuck in the 4th seed, and host the Kings in the first round. I could live with that, though home ice throughout is much more appealing. Congrats to the Hawks, they deserved that win last night.

Anyway, the Penguins/Caps game was interesting… Penguins tie it up near the end of regulation play, go into the shootout ahead by 2 and end up losing! Christ, I think the Caps are the team to beat this year.
Frustrating SO loss to the Predators last night. They looked hungover from the Hawks game. At least they got a point out of it.
I just locked down Coytoes tickets last night for the entire playoffs with four other friends. Can’t. Fucking. Wait.

no matter the sport always root for PA and Boston teams to get in the playoff and lose. I Love a good sports riot. Sure england puts us to shame but that’s soccer. canada seems to only riot for cancelled concerts.

Dude we riot for hockey all the time. At least in Montreal. We riot when they make the playoffs, when the make it to the second round, when/if they win the cup, if they dont make the playoffs. We had the original riot too with the Maurice Richard riot in the 50s.
