We have decided to give away our entire back catalog and make it freely and openly available to anyone and everyone who wants to hear it. All files are 192 kbps, 44.1kHz mp3s. We want you to give it to your friends, your enemies, your family, share it with everyone, everywhere. Our goal is to get it out to the people more than it ever has. We want everyone to hear it, own it and share it. Use it for whatever you want as long as you aren’t making any money off it.
I had heard SuperCoolNothing a couple years back, yet to hear the newer one, but it sounded alright… I downloaded the albums though, and so far only really listened to Wisdom, and liked it. Reminds me of Pretty Hate Machine a little. Yet to really pay more attention to the other material. The later stuff is kinda generic?
16 Volt was a good show both times I saw them. Good enough to pick up their albums both times. One of the was SuperCoolNothing and the other I’ll have to dig for if I still have it. They had some cool sounding stuff. Not highly original in any sense, but pretty good.
For me, Wisdom was hit or miss, though Motorskill is a really great song. Skin is still mostly electronic, but a bit more well-executed. LetDownCrush is more guitar, but still a very strong album. When it came out, I thought I’d hate it becasue of that, but it’s got some of their strongest stuff. SuperCoolNothing is in the same vein, but more slipdisc-ized, for those who remeber that label.
