13th Planet signs Assention of the Watchers

Yeah, Trent puts on a consistently good show. And he’s definitely the kind of artist who remembers that it’s the fans that put him on the map. A class act in that regard.

trent’s a good guy. enough said.

From the nin hotline:

“Hyperpower!”
“The Beginning of the End”
“Last”
“Survivalism”
“March of the Pigs”
“Closer”
“Capital G”
“Burn”
“Gave Up”
“Me, I’m Not”
“The Great Destroyer”
“Eraser”
“Only”
“Wish”
“The Good Soldier”
“No, You Don’t”
“Suck”
“The Hand That Feeds”
“Head Like A Hole”
“Hurt”

Seems like a cool setlist. The last couple of tours though were MUCH better though; really mixed it up.

yup.
i think trent left his ministry (professional) affiliations behind after “suck”.paul barker’s one of the songwriters.as far as i know, he and trent have maintained a friendship, without any pissy band comparisons.
trent on al’s label?
are you guys kidding?
the opposite wouldn’t happen either, because trent wouldn’t ask. more important issues to address since the music industry is in the crapper currently. it’s kind of mind boggling that 13th planet got started in the first place.
if it’s to support al, good luck. the approaching age of 50 somehow was a call to arms? what?
i love and respect ministry. what al does right now is on his shoulders.he should be grateful for the support crew who took care of his ass for so many years.

That’s the best damn setlist I’ve seen in awhile!

Aw, it’s all their aggressive shit, nice…I’d replace “Closer” with “Vessel,” though - it’s just as sexy, and I’m not sick to fucking death of it.

Also, replace “Hurt” with “Ringfinger” - for shits n’ giggles. [:P]

i agree about being sick of hurt and closer. i’d rather have vessel and right where it belongs on the set instead of them.

the set was standard 90 mins but it seemed so short live. if only they’d play 2 hours and say, 25-26 tracks instead of 20-21.

Hell, I’d listen to a NIN rendition of Pop Goes the Weasel, so long as I had the money for once to go see them!

I really enjoyed Hurt live, well, until it got cut short, haha. I wouldn’t have minded seeing closer and HLAH… but the set I saw was still pretty awesome. I’m not sure if all 3 got recorded, I think they did, but the 3 Melbourne shows all had different setlists, and all had awesome inclusions. I got my show on DVD, yay bootleggers.
