We haven’t seen the first one yet.
I should message Chem and see if he needs any help. We do live in the same area…
Ok, you got me, it was more around 2003 than anything.
2000!
I found the evidence.
HAHAHAHAHAHA!!! That site is amazing. Thank you.
lol that guy really hates barker. he’s probably some fat loser making things up. barker just seems like such a nice guy!
Yeah, homeboy definitely seems bitter. I really don’t put much stock into internet reports or otherwise about whether particular celebrities or rockstars are nice or a-holes.
Most of the ones I’ve met were really great. But that being said, how hard is it really to be nice to a fan for a few seconds. A lot of it is also timing. Hit a celebrity on a good day and you’ll swear s/he’s the nicest person in the world. Same person after a bad show or shortly after getting a parking ticket and you might find that s/he’s a real ornery piece of crap.
I’ve never had the pleasure of meeting Barker, but I spent a good amount of time with Al and Angie on their tour bus in '04 and they were both absolute sweethearts. When I saw Grandpa Jourgensen again in '08 he was kind of a giant douche. But I can’t really say I “KNOW” him either way. Just small anecdotes which can be used to paint him either way. That being said, it’s fairly obvious to me that he couldn’t care less now about what fans want from him musically or about what he’s doing to the Ministry legacy.
“yeah, that paul such an aloof bastard, always sneering at others and
hell, when i was at the ministry compound, in texas, he wouldn’t even
let me play with his fucking gi joe collection. that bastard.”
[laugh]
He was very nice to me when I met him and when I saw him out in town.
Yeah . . . . I bet. WAKAWAKAWAKA!!!
I don’t have a bad thing to say.
I’m with you buddy I second that.
