What are you listening to right now?

Snot. Cause I am sick. ugh.

Lol… the only thing I can ever think of when I think of “snot” is

“MY BALLS YOUR CHIN”

space age love song–flock of seagulls. still don’t know why.
perhaps the aha moment will come.i’m so old and boring, this is the music which sounds “catchy” to me, and worthy of a potential soundtrack.wonder if anyone’s done a remake of the track.anyone?.. anyone?

The Cult - Love (Omnibus Edition)

1002

? And The Mysterians - 96 Tears

too many teardrops.(don’t remember the rest of the lyrics)
nice break from the rest of what prongs is shaping up to.

Listened to Crackdown by CV a little earlier. Now it’s Saturday Night Wrist by Deftones. In the mood for something simple, but after all this jive about sampling, i’m in the mood for something along those lines now I think.

The new Portal album, Swarth. You Australians have some pretty cool metal bands just waiting to be discovered globally…

Yes! My sinister plan to subtly turn Prongs into a CV fan board is working! Mwhahahaa!

Melechesh - Sphynx
King Crimson - In The Court of the Crimson King
some horrorpunk comp.

Haha. I’ve been listening to CV for a good year or so now. Never heard any of the solo work though.

Mind Bomb - The The. Grew on me.

Cabaret Voltaire - Why Kill Time (When You Can Kill Yourself)

Unsurprisingly, lots of Cabaret Voltaire. “Code” “Crackdown” and “Groovy”. I’ve heard others on hear talk down “Code” and the “Don’t Argue” single made me wonder if I’d lost my mind back in the days when I loved this album, but no I still do love it. It is very much a distillation and maximization of the mid-period sound into a more pop-focused form, but dang they do right. “No One Here” is the only track that doesn’t totally wow me. Also, the Adrian Sherwood production is amazing.

freakazoid

Freakazoid robots please report. Freakazoid robots please report… to the dance floor.

Awesome song.

What the Freq Nasty song?

Surprised anyone here has heard of that kiwi.

He’s a great producer and puts on a great set.

That first album of his “Freqs, Geeks & Mutilations” is awesome.

What Carmangary said.

“I’ll be your freakazoid, come on and wind me up…”

Pet Shop Boys - Behaviour

Angels of Light - New Mother.
