I was browsing the reddit industrial sub just to see if anyone new was doing anything interesting in the genre when i stumbled upon 3teeth covering cheesy pop songs and my initial suspicions were confirmed lol. This genre is devoid of anything fresh and mostly occupied by 80s cosplay bands coasting off the fumes of wax trax.
Who is producing these people? I know going indie gives you freedom but if you have no creative sense that doesnt really do you any good. For all the bashing we used to do of the big wig corporate labels at least they knew how to develop talent and guide them. I see cross over potential with a band like 3teeth similair to NIN but NIN evolved and innovated. These guys here are getting poppier and poppier in the worst ways.

Yeah, I wouldn’t judge them by one cover song. The new 3Teeth album is a monster and you’re way off base here. Go back to listening to Ozzy or whatever, there are plenty of new industrial bands that are doing interesting things.
