Brendan could have done so much more with these recordings than he did.
i mean, i’m not stupid, i know there were conversations like “dont’ take away from the original issue” but fuck - PJ should have let him do his thing. i was also dissapointed in the fact i bought this from them directly (support my artist and all) but i kinda got ripped off. the last thing i bought from them directly was th avocado album. when i bought the avocado album from them, i got the album in a hard case (like a hard-back book - you couldn’t buy in stores) and a bonus disk of a live show(also couldn’t get in a store). with this one - i got nothing special (same as a best buy purchase) - just a disk at standard price and a fuckin $7 shipping fee. i am dissappointed. and they should know that this deal sucked for the people who went out of their way to support them directly.
trent wouldn’t do this. (i’m not a freak NIN person - just comparing businesses.)
p.s. - i’m drinkin so consider this a “what are you drinking now” post as well.

you do know there was several limited pressings, including one with DVD of Unplugged, 2xLP, 2xCD a copy of the original demo cassette and a huge book right?
and Brendan did what he could i’m sure it was also a matter of not wanting to stray too far from the original recordings. PJ loves him because he makes them sound ‘live in a room’ and i think he succeeds in that aspect.
