Hahaha yeah man I love that soundtrack…the director of Death Wish, Michael Winner was a neighbor of Jimmys and asked him to do that soundtrack…Page had been in a depressed state after the death of Bonzo and the subsequent demise of Zep…Page looked at it as a good way to get back into fighting shape…apparently he did it for free…
I remember seeing that film(when I was probably way to young to be watching it) back in the heyday of late night 80s cable…its a good grindhouse rape/revenge flick but its greatly enhanced by Page’s score…that music always stuck in my craw…
Btw,the uncut version of that film is super gnarly and definitely not for the easily offended…

Theres a killer show on netflix from the uk called people just do nothing, it features jungle, house, every episode and is really the main subject matter for the show.
Supposed to be a American rehash in the works.
But on maya i preordered the vinyl and cd, both seem to be very limited, bandcamp is the way to go because of the 320 not 256 download will be included with either vinyl or cd.
I was just checking out some of the tracks from Frusciante’s Maya, I will have to purchase that.

Finally got my hands on the new Mr. Bungle. Thrash-punk perfection. Patton’s best performance since the EP he did with the Dillinger Escape Plan.
