i got it this time of the year after Dead Again came out and with how doomy it is it feels more like the summer afternoon/evening Type O album for me.

Its a doomy and dirgey affair but probably my desert island TON album with a gun to my head…not much of the usual humor in that one as it was a really rough time in Pete’s life…its a stunner though…a perfect doomed out apocalyptic metal album for the ages…

haha it was my favorite for a long time before i realized i couldn’t put anything above October Rust. i’d definitely have to be in the right mood to play the whole thing but with Pyretta Blaze and the Beatles medley it kind of ends on a more uplifting note as kt finishes, kind of like Brick Windows.

Wire - It’s Beginning To And Back Again (1989)
Prince - Purple Rain Extended
just arrived today. haven’t even made it through one spin yet.
Spinning a ton of NIN lately also managed to finally get around to listening to the new Pig. It got me to thinking why nin/pig never had some kind of collaboration.
From what i know Reznor was a big Pig fan and they were onced signed to his label. Shouldve happened.
Listening on random stoner doom stuff via youtube and of course Melvins and Motorpsycho:
Bark Psychosis: Codename Dustsucker
After listening to Danzig “Black Laden Crown” for about 2 weeks straight I finally changed the CD in my car in honor of Mike Scaccia’s birthday today.
RIGOR MORTIS - “Slaves to the Grave”
I was listening to Slaves to the Grave nonstop when it came out. [cool]
I was just rocking out to Dead Cross: Seizure and Desist. Now Go Gos live in Central Park 2001.
