What are you listening to right now?

Chemlab - exile on the mainline

The opening track from this disc has been on every workout mix I have made in the last 20 years. A top 10 Industrial Stomper in my book. IMO they never made a proper follow up to this slate. Oxidizer did nothing for me.[/reply]

Yeah the first tune is great. It’s funny u mention Oxidizer…tried to listen to that today and it still doesn’t do it for me either.

Been bumping a lot of Joe Frawley. I don’t sleep much, and his music is a passable substitute for dreams. Check it out!

I should stop being such a stranger.

the new metallica. it sounds a little like “justice,” if you included bass guitar.

and if lars ulrich had died instead of cliff. although time and money changes everyone… for all i know, if that had happened, cliff would be the one with the stupid art collection.

He’d probably be the born again christian of the group. Sober and conservative Republican.

Heh.

I got my copy of GWS Live in the mail the other day. Haven’t had a chance to give it a comprehensive listen yet. How do you like it?

It’s good. I went though it from start to finish when i got home from the holidays. They’ve got their whole band, so it’s not a two guy + drum machine show. Good stuff though. You’ll dig it.

I’ve only managed to get listening to it once. I downloaded it on release to i could hear it straight away. I’d preordered it from Anselmo’s record label to support the dude but they ended up not posting it until 3 weeks after release and i got charged customs on it that cost almost as much as the album itself. I was kinda annoyed at his shoddy service to be honest, so i haven’t listened to it again yet. On first listen it’s pretty different to their previous stuff. I don’t think it’s as good, but i’ve only heard it once. It definitely sounds different.

Barker basslines are so simple and so groovy at the same time.
