AWOLNATION - Run

I didn’t like this one. LOVED “Megalithic Symphony,” but this one seems too… restrained.

Hollow Moon is amazing, but I definitely see where you’re coming from with the rest of it.

Honey Is Cool - Crazy Love

Early ministry and side projects …I fancy the synth pop and dark wave pop and industrial goth pop of the stuff from 81 to 90’ …been enjoying more the early to late 80s stuff and listening to quite a bit of it lately.

Cannot understand how the person who wrote 99 Percenters and fairly unbalanced is the same gifted artist that did all that incredible post punk alternative nuwave music …it blows my mind how fucking awful Al is now…his voice is shit and his songwriting aesthetic is like generic metal …really embarrassing and totally fucking terrible

That Trent Reznor/Peter Murphy thing, pretty excellent. You wouldn’t believe how well their cover of Warm Leatherette goes with random wildlife and motorcycle footage on a muted tv.

Jimi Hendrix - Hornets Nest lp

Oophoi- Lord of the Starfields

a deep ambient drone piece from one of the best. perfect to be put into a calm state of mind.
