Been on an Amon Tobin kick lately. So, Amon Tobin - Surge

I can definitely relate to The Tobin, bro. I used to play Chronic Tronic a lot when I was djing clubs and house parties. Always went down well.
At the moment I’m going old school electro and listening to some 808 State. Also Melody AM by Royskopp.
Over the weekend:
Controlled Bleeding - Penetration
Arditi - Omne Ensis Impera
Merzbow - Sphere
Deadwood - Ramblack
Dismember - Like An Ever Flowing Stream
And of course new Swans.
For Filthpig, photos from the last night of the 20th Anniversary Rubberneck Tour: https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.10204020794583067.1073741834.1319672199&type=1&l=6db62713e2
I’ve enjoyed everything Down has done…I think it will be hard to ever top NOLA but still it’s always quality…and I like the direction they are going with these EP’s…
Yeah, me too, it’s still totally Down but they seem to be trying out different things by the sound of it, looking forward to their acoustic EP. I’m hoping they add Belfast to their European tour so i can see them again.
D.A.F - Alles ist Gut
Ulver - Bergtatt

I’m really digging ISAM. His music sounds very odd and scattered at first but comes together very quickly. Some of it sounds sparse to me until I give it another listen and notice all the insane sounds going on.
Pharoahe Monche-PTSD
The Roots-and then you shoot your cousin
Public Enemy-There’s a Poison Going On
Prince Paul-Psychoanalysis(What is It?)
Pink Floyd Live at Pompeii
Pink Floyd Live at Pompeii
I remember that being shown on tv once and the announcer calling it “Pink Floyd at Pumpy-Eye”, very amusing pronunciation!
In Solitude - Sister
Agalloch - The Serpent And The Sphere
Mastodon - Blood Mountain
Mastodon - Blood Mountain
Great album. You looking forward to the new one? Have you heard High Road, or the other track they previewed some of yesterday?

Blood Mountain is legend.
In fact I am wearing the Blood Mountain t-shirt as I type this.
Slighty better than Crack the Skye which is my next favorite.
I’m a bit iffy about what I have heard so far in terms of the new album. I think their best material is behind them, sadly.
[:(]
I’ve hiked Blood Mountain several times.

I’ve enjoyed everything so far, Crack the Skye is one of the greatest albums i’ve ever heard, it’s sheer guitar lunacy.
Death Grips - The Money Store
Fennesz - Becs
Massive Attack - Mezzanine
Lord Mantis - Death Mask
Absolutely addicted to that Death Grips album at the mo.
