Darren Keene’s solo weirdo electronic act. Very interesting stuff. Some of you may have heard of his old act, The Show Is The Rainbow, with which he did shows with The Locust, Girl Talk, Tub Ring, Dan Deacon, The Faint, and Mindless Self Indulgence.
Darren was raving to me about how awesome these guys were, and how he wishes he had his own label so he could rake in piles of money from their record. On first listen I thought they were just OK, but second and third listens have convinced me I really dig their steeze. Dancy synthy post-punk pop blah blah blah. It’s groovy, whatever you want to call it.
Yes it is…I have never been a fan of this band but this one is really good…it has a weird, dark edge to it that I didn’t hear in their other music…nice stuff…
Filter & the crystal method ( can’t you ) trip like i do maxi-single
I love this song. I have the soundtrack to the spawn album on which this track appears. The whole album is collaborative songs. A bunch of peeps on here would probably dig tiny rubber band off of that album.

I’ve always been a casual fan and liked whatever I heard from them, but never been truly sucked in until this album. Its awesome. Its beautiful and dark, a good balance. Reznor makes an appearance on here I believe.

Yeah,it gets better with each listen…and yep,Reznor is on it along with the great Mark Lanegan and others…shit, even Elton John is on the fucking thing…
yea, i’m still on my hendrix kick. i can’t stop buying these CDs from his estate. they get jimi’s engineer, eddie krammer, and master tapes from studio sessions and mix them down. they also acquire live recordings from fans and eddie krammer blesses them and they sell those. i’ve got three more coming, they’re back ordered.
