wow how things have changed, when you first got here you didn’t care for me much, now you’re proud to be my #1
We’ve had a war of words before but you’re just too damn funny to hate. The only person on here that’s every really pissed me off was Peligro but that was over something Black Metal related and most of my elitism over that genre pretty much goes away more and more with age. elrey56 also said something rather dickheadish over on the Whitney Houston thread but I really don’t have the time or energy to get into a war of words with anyone on here or anywhere else on the net. Closest thing I’ll do to that is rip on Amlux for acting like a 15 yearold.
I’m also glad to say that I’ve never been on Gunnar’s bad side. I nominate him to either be Treasurer or Secretary Of State.

glad I give off that vibe. most of my shit is tongue in cheek anyway… and yeah I second not being on gunnar’s bad side, although I came close when I started ripping vegas.
btw, I’ve got our campaign slogan…
“Smrf/Eureka bridging the gap in 2012”
at least one feel good word to make it sound great but vague enough to mean absolutely nothing.
we could take this national!! WE’RE CONTENDERS!!!

Al has made a comment about voting straight Democratic. I believe in evaluating each candidate and ensuring an informed electorate participates in the political process. He’d be surprised there’s more variety in his concert-going fan base than he thinks.
Well said. I concur with this statement. Certain Republicans I have voted for in elections that I felt Democrats were not appropriate and vice-verse.
I consider myself to be a moderate and listen to both sides. Quite frankly both sides have their idiots. Democrats there’s Al Sharpton. Anyone else still wonder about those campaign finance issues?
Republicans: John McCain’s’ chose Sarah Palin to be the Vice President candidate and she does what exactly?

There’s a lot more on the right than the left… Paul ryan immediately comes to mind. I think palin may be smarter than him but yet he’s a serious politician. Rand Paul’s an idiot, Scott Walker, Scott Brown, Lindsey Graham, Antinin Scalia, Newt, Santorum, and Mittens, Rush, Ann Coultier… boy i could do this all day.

i remember signing people up to vote in chicago with a few other people from the PA. i think i got around 20 or so myself. not sure if they’d ever end up actually voting, but awareness was raised nonetheless. i don’t remember the name of the organization they had teamed up with, though. put out that comp cd too, eh?
PunkVoter.com - yet another organization that, though their heart was in the right place, constantly tried to smear GWB while simultaneously creating a message of “Hey! Get out and vote so GWB can be out of the office!”

At the risk of starting another Political war ,there really isn’t much to “smear” on GWB all you had to do was mention what had happened that day.

Also, see: Puff Daddy’s “Vote Or Die” campaign.
It was the Democrat’s fault - you can’t just nominate some guy and expect people to vote for him because he’s not the opponent. Obama won because people were actually excited for him. That’s why the Republicans will lose this year. Their ranks aren’t enthusiastic about any of the candidates. They’re expecting people to come out and vote against Obama instead of for Romney, and that trick never works.
