Twelve Inch Singles-Vinyl Edition 12/2/2014

Bonus tracks are-

I’ll Do Anything For You
Same Old Madness (Video Version)

The item description says both are previously unreleased and unheard, but they’re probably the same versions on the Trax box.

I ordered the 2cds…

On Monday, I received the 2cd and a digipak…box set disc 7. Then I got this today:

Hi,

We wanted to let you know that accidentally we sent you the wrong pressing for the second album of your new Ministry - Twelve Inch Singles 1981 - 1984 Bonustrack digipak cds. The physical copy you have/receive is currently missing some tracks.

Just wanted to let you know that we are working on it and we will send you the replacement for your CD as soon as we receive the correct copies.

In addition, we are sending you a download code for you to have the digital version of the album with the bonus tracks. you will be able to listen to it on January 28.

Once again apologies for the inconvenience and please feel free to contact us if you have any questions or concerns.

Best regards

PD: Please Make sure to keep your current copy

Does Cleopatra ever get anything right on the first go round?

I feel Acid’s frustration, but at least they’re making it right instead of just ignoring it and making you eat it. So, even if Cleo is incompetent on the front end at least they’re willing to make it up on the back end.

It’s getting a little ridiculous here. At least the vinyl was the same, only in different colors. Previously there’s the CD I got in 2014, and now it’s this 2022 CD release with 2 more tracks tacked on - and that’s in addition to my original WaxTrax CD.

Still, it’s hard to complain about getting any new old Ministry tracks. I’d rather have these endless Cleopatra reissue rehashes dribbling out than nothing at all, like we had in the pre-Trax Box days.

I’m just glad that they’re putting this material out. It must be selling well if they’re making a hundred different configurations of the same releases.

The 2014 CD had an error, and I’m curious if this 2022 version is the same. On Disc 1 (which mirrors the original Wax Trax CD) Nature of Love (Cruelty Mix) is actually “Cruelty Mix B”. On Disc 2, It literally is the exact same track. The “A” version, which is the version featured on the original 12" doesn’t have the spoken word intro, where the “B” version does.

To add to confusion, “Where Are You At Now” on the Trax Box is actually the “Cruelty Mix A” minus the fade out.

Not that this is a new thing. The original Wax Trax CD had some incorrect credits listed and the two versions of “I’m Falling” have been mislabeled since the Early Trax release.

My guess: they don’t fix any of the errors. And maybe introduce one or two more.

I still feel like “Where Are You At Now” was really supposed to be the title of something else, and weirdly got mislabeled, and I really want to know where that came from (besides the obvious Twitch track).

I wouldn’t say no to a revised booklet with more era-correct photos included. But given it’s a digipak, they may not include a booklet at all. Sounds like they basically sent out a digipak with the same two exact discs from 2014 to Revco there.

The listing on Bandcamp for the digipak CD says “Sold Out” now. I really doubt that. Seems more likely they stopped production until they get their corrected second discs.
