Trent and Gary Numan collaboration

Totally inclined to agree with you Ice.

Let’s join forces and kick a whole bunch of arsehole Psychiatrists in their collective scrotums and labiae and show them how it’s done.

Mmm… Asbergers has always made me hungry. Seriously, just imagine Homer Simpson with that one…

‘mmm… asbergers… glarrrghghghg’

Ass-burgers?

Mmmm-mmm. My kinda burgers.

Let us rage, good dildo. Let us rage.

As someone who’s only listened to Replicas-Pleasure Principal-Telekon, I really admire Numan’s ability to craft memorable songs. Taken in a pop context, I don’t consider his music any more repetitive than other synth pop or new wave of the time and maybe it’s the minimal pallete of sounds he uses that gives that impression. Telekon in particular rewards you on multiple listens with layers you might not have first noticed (such as the lush piano solo in “The Aircrash Bureau”). Reviews indicate that from Telekon onwards his career took a downturn trajectory, so that could be a large part of why lots have an unfavorable opinion of him. Those early albums are really charming, though, and I’d recommend them to anyone into the catchier side of the industrial rock spectrum. Count me in as interested in hearing what the Reznor collab will bring.
