My copy arrived last night. Wow! The mix is way better than expected. I’m hearing stuff (bass line, samples, drums) much more clearly than in the previous bootlegs of this show.
Cleo does it again. Totally worth it.
Awesome! Can’t wait to hear it!
Agreed, Cleo is doing an excellent job with the early catalog.
I’ll wait for an iTunes gift card or a vinyl release. I’m not into paying $13.99 + tax for 9 songs when I only paid a couple bucks more for the 2 disc Twelve Inch Singles, which has 17 songs.
My CD showed up. Sounds great! Looking forward to more soundboard live releases, especially the ones from 82’ and 83’.
Is this an incomplete show in terms of all the songs that were actually played during this concert? Over The Shoulder sounds like it probably wasn’t the first song played, and I noticed they removed Al’s comments before Just Like You where he talked about playing for another 20-30 minutes. Nine songs seems kind of short unless it was a festival gig or promo show.

I’m not sure what else was performed, but since it is an earlier Twitch show, it may have included I See Red and/or Attack Ships on Fire.
I’m guessing the recording was shortened to 55 minutes to line up with 1 hour radio time slots.
This one came from Bisquit’s stash, so he might have some more info on it.
That’s pretty great. It’s interesting hearing bass on “We Believe” and “Isle of Man” is radically different (though I don’t really love either version truth told). I think live, the influences of Twitch show through more fully as does Al’s appreciation of Ogre’s vocals. “My Posession” and a number of others sound very Ogre-y and the “We Believe” vocal sounds like Al doing Peter Murphy. “Where You At Now?” sounds like a punk version of Front 242 and is surprisingly my favorite cut on the disc. Prior I’d never given the song much consideration. “Just Like You” is also very different and unfortunately lacks much energy.
Yeah, totally worth my money and the first Ministry I’ve bought for a while. Would love for a LORAH live set too. Early RevCo would be great too.
If I recall correctly, he mentions something about playing for another half hour before the last song, so I would bet there’s more to the show. 6 tracks were broadcast on Canadian radio in the early 90s (and likely before, as well). The recording of these was quite common in the tape trading days and was usually paired with the 7/10/82 show. A song and a half were added to the Flashback With Ogre bootleg. I believe these were also sourced from the post-broadcast version.
Several years ago, I managed to track down a copy of the pre-broadcast version from the radio station vaults. The 9 tracks were all there was, so likely if there was more to the show, it wasn’t professionally recorded. That’s where this was sourced from.
I just wish they hadn’t gotten the date wrong. It’s definitely 4/10/86. That tour ended in June. There weren’t any fall dates that I know of.
Once again, it wouldn’t be a Cleopatra release without some kind of screw-up on the final product.
That said, Cleopatra is really making my day with these releases lately! As long as it’s only typos and no more audio problems, they have my full support and my cash.
Am just laughing at the pictures used for that last Ebay listing…what could be more appealing to Ministry fans into the spiky black hard-edged music than…James Cagney and Bob Marley?!!
And another shot of the CD apparently taken on someone’s sofa…
I know Cleo likes to cut corners here, there, and everywhere, but they couldn’t have just put the damn CD onto a flatbed scanner and made more of an impression that this is coming from an organization that sells records for a living?
