then I pick this:

What the fuck happened to these guys?!?!
Well, I’m not sure what exactly you think “happened” but I’ve always enjoyed each and every Cathedral release over the years, although the quality certainly does dip here and there (hello Supernatural Birth Machine).
The Guessing Game was certainly not one of their best lyrically but musically it’s quite good. Granted, some of it is a little silly at times and poor old Dorrian never had the best singing voice and was always a much better growler in my opinion.
I’d give it a solid 6 out of 10.
As for the worst albums in my collection -
The Doors - Full Circle
An album the other three made after Jim’s untimely death. It’s…best left alone. Don’t go there.
The Residents - Have A Bad Day
Awful shit by a band that has pumped out too much filler in the last 20 years or so. Way too much filler. This is bad, even by post-classic Residents album standards.
Chaka Khan - Destiny
I don’t remember buying this. Alright I do remember but…hell there was a time when Chaka was choice!
Suede - Dog Man Star
Friend of mine some time ago told me to check these guys out because they were “the future of British music”. They weren’t. Plus it has some nude bloke on the front cover.
The Streets - Original Pirate Material
Can’t see what all the fuss is about. This guy is supposed to be some modern day urban poet. The fuck?
Peeping Tom - Peeping Tom
Mike Patton. The man, the myth. There are few more polarizing artists than he (alright, well maybe Burzum). I for one generally love the guy - an artist who can move seamlessly through almost any genre he decides to and has the smarts to pull it off. Unfortunately this time round he falls completely flat as he tries to reinvent himself as a hip hop (trip hop?) with alarming results. It’s just bad. Tried to get into it but couldn’t. To this day I have made it all the way through on only two occasions which really speaks volumes I think. Avoid.
Michael Jackson - Invincible
Clearly Michael, you are anything but.
Mission Of Burma - Vs
I know you are supposed to love this album if you are a lover of “serious” alternative and art/rock music but I always thought it was a load of atonal bollocks.
