I don’t find it depressing. I like that people are open and honest enough to share personal beliefs or opinions that aren’t necessarily embraced by or accepted by others or by their peers or society in general. I don’t even care if someone is racist or sexist or homophobic. I have a lot more respect for people that just come out and say it instead of making a bunch of excuses or living in denial.
