Is anybody a member of Chris’s forum? Someone should go in there and tell him his presence is requested at Prongs.
Chris had a new baby recently and if I remember right from his last posts, was going of to be a parent for a little while.
K guys for convenience sake, here’s the ebay seller id where I got it from. I think he might’ve a few more copies left in his inventory. maybe this could be the ebay operation of SAF publishing (the book’s publisher), coz when I rcvd the item it was packed inside a SAF official envelope.
Just PM him & try yr luck.
Thanks just sent him a message. I am so pissed at my idiot friend now for leaving this book when he was kicked out of his apartment. It’s a funny story actually but just pathetic that I hang out with this person…
Dude said they are looking into possibly doing another printing.
Yep quoted for truth. I also rcvd the same msg from the ebay seller, he said they’re planning to do a reprint soon. as for now he don’t have any more stock of the book.
Hopefully chris can add a chapter or two to the next printing, regardless this was an amazingly great read… i know it may be lame, but you can ask your library to get books and if one library in the country has it, they can get it shipped to your local one for you to read
Not lame at all. I’m sure some of you palookas could stand a trip to the library. Like me. Heh.
Always worth a shot.
That’s how I got “Lynch On Lynch”. That’s been out of print for 10 years.
Hey, don’t knock going to the library!
I scored a mandolin off some old man I met there!
…don’t ask. [laugh]
It would have been a better story if you’d scored an old man in exchainge for a mandolin.
Libraries are awesome.
I doubt most of them have a copy of the Connelly book, though.

most won’t… but if one, just a single library in the country has it you can get it shipped to your library and then borrow a copy to read. It’s also good for getting graphic novels or manga without having to pay… i know i had my local place get me the run of transmetropolitan for me once.
Libraries, from what I’ve seen over the last 20 years, have become a hangout for the homeless. The beautiful book smell has now been replaced with a nasty homeless smell…

I don’t think my local library would accept the book. As soon as they see the word ‘cock’ on it they’d be running for their rosary beads.

Remind them that “cock” is in the bible.

Oh I must finish reading that series… I have the whole thing a dvd somewhere - I read the first 6-7 issues or something. The first few were really good, then that issue where he’s watching the tv for the whole issue kinda sucked. INteresting series though.

That was my experience the last time I went to a library but I doubt it is like that at all libraries. They should check library cards or have some soap and a water hose hanging in the back for the ones that have the homeless people hanging out there.[/reply]
agreed! it should be like a bank after hours, you gotta swipe your card to get in.
