I was a Boone’s Farm man, myself. One bottle on the way to the club and I was set for a good time. Sad, but true.
Oh, Heck yeah, Bro! I found my thrill on Strawberry Hill many times!

I Prefer the Boones strawberry daiquiri to the hill.

I’m not sure if I’ve tried that one (probably did) but I remember for sure drinking Strawberry Hill, Fuzzy Navel, and Sangria flavors. It’s been years since I’ve done any of them, though. I can still rock it ghetto style, though.
Next time we do our pre-show parking lot boozing I’ll get you a Strawberry Daiquiri instead of putting you on the Night Train.

I’ll take you up on that. I thought I was ready to ride the night train… and I was wrong!! nasty, horrible shit!!
The strawberry Daiquiri is a dark shade of red where as the strawberry hill (if I remember right) is a see through pink. the strawberry Daiquiri is not as harsh as the strawberry hill. I don’t know if smooth is the word but the Daiquiri is much “smoother” than the hill. It’s really like kool aid and dangerous since you can’t really taste the alcohol, so before you know it you’re fucked up sloppy.
Fuzzy navel is probably my second “favorite” of the boones. but I too haven’t had a boones in probably 10 years.

I use a '75 Marantz cassette deck to broadcast all of my radio shows. That and a Panasonic 8-track player.
I used to have a great cassette collection back in the late 90’s but let one of my cousins borrow it and they never gave it back! [mad] I had Melvins’ Ozma on cassette. That one’s kinda hard to find.
My cassette collection now is decent. I make alot of my own mixtapes though. I have alot of new wave and classic rock tapes now. I have Mind is a Terrible Thing to Taste on cassette but upset I lost the cover to it.
For some reason tapes are still really big in the Noise scene. I never understood why. I suppose because it’s a dead format and has some “hip” appeal. I haven’t been active within the Noise scene in awhile because I was sick of the pretentious, douchey vibe of these people, but it was fun in the mid 2000s…
Alot of the music I play on my show is rare and don’t come from Mp3 sources, but from old analog sources so it’s alot quicker to put together on tape instead of waiting to upload it all on a computer. When I go on the air my mixtapes stream into a computer and become Mp3s anyways.
And well it’s format I know nobody really uses anymore. I just love the reactions I get from the other DJ’s when I bring my cassette deck and 8-track player in the studio lol. They love it.

WHAT DO YOU MEAN “THESE PEOPLE”!?
lol.
I never quite understood it either, but I buy 'em anyway. Especially from friends or touring acts. The tapes are usually pretty cheap.
