I’ll have to really dig to find it…if I do find it i’ll add some more bad-ass albums to it!
For me, Soundgarden are/were a lightweight indie/metal band who had one (Badmotorfinger) good album. Everything that came after that was nauseating commercial rock radio “metal”.
(I dare you to listen to Black Hole Sun and still keep your lunch down).
Having said that, that tiny snippet and early word of mouth has given me a glimmer of hope. However I’m unlikely to go ruishing out to buy a copy on November 13.
In regards to Killing Joke…ever since Democracy, they’ve become the post punk equivalent of U2 (ie stay well away from them and their social-political arena rock drivel).
The 2003 self titled album (starring none other than Mr “Grunge For 14 Year Old Boys” himself, Mr Dave Grohl) was a laughable pile of headline snippets and leftists chants of “War Is Bad”, “Rich People Are Greedy” “The American President Is A Criminal For Invading Iraq” and “The Planet Will Be Destroyed If We Don’t Start Planting Trees Soon And Stand Around Hugging Each Other”.
All this KJ hatin is only cause they had some mainstream success with their song “Come As You Are”.
I hate that “they suck cause they’re mainstream” mentality!!!
Peligz needs to catch a live KJ show with the original band members…once he does this he will be gayer than Jaz’s deep lyrics due ot his man crush on the legend that is the O.G. KJ.
