Thanks, man. We are lucky to get it. there were far too many names that one of us liked that the other did not because it immediately reminded us of some fucker we’d had in the classroom.
James was easy because we both had a grandpa that meant the world to us. James was always gonna be a middle name for my boy (that woulda’ been a deal breaker with her had she said no, but turns out she had a grandpa named James too)

When the kid is old enough to make his/her own decisions on some items you let them.

He can make all of his decisions cause the decisions we’ll let him make won’t be family crushing if he chooses poorly.

Or are you one of those parents that breast feeds your kid at age 10 and lets him/her smoke dope in the house because s/he should be respected as an individual with freedom and all that crap?

Yeah, we will NOT be those parents. Kid’ll be done with the boob by right around the year mark give or take.

He wants to smoke dope? he better do it somewhere else and be sober by the time he comes home, we ain’t running no rehab enabling home for losers.

thanks, brother. it never gets old to hear and we really are enjoying every second with him. screaming babies used to bug the shit outta me but now i just feel bad for him and my heart breaks until i can get him happy again.

What? Of course you can force it into a routine. It’s a baby. That’s how you raise them. You put them on the toilet and tell them when to poop. You put mashed carrots in their face and tell them when to eat. You stick a boobie in their mouth and tell them when to drink.
