I don’t think I even need to mention that I’ll purchase it - that’s a given. But in the meantime, could someone perhaps torrent it up on one of the standard sites? You know, Piratebay, Torrentspy, etc. It’s just that I don’t use YouSendIt or whatever, and I kinda feel that I’ve joined enough of these sites…if the FBI or whomever were to track my IP Address (which is really, really easy to do) I would be screwed. Just…screwed. I’m all about the filesharing.

Some observations after listening to the whole album once:
-this is thrash metal. if you like this style, you’ll dig the album
-sadly, there are a lot of Bush samples
-“Rio Grande Blood” reminds me of “The Missing”
-this version of Great Satan sounds like thrash. The muddy production has been replaced with clear riffing etc.
-the guitars sound awesome. hail Tommy Victor
-“LiesLiesLies” has the same vocal melody as “N.W.O”. Enought with the NWOs already!
So far I am really digging it but I do actually like thrash metal. People expecting something experimental or redefining will be VERY dissapointed.
EDIT: I cant use any p2p network cos my university blocks them all. Thats why I needed to use yousendit. Someone should torrent it asap too.

I dont think we really need to worry about the loyalty of the people on this board… They’ll all buy the album or even pre-order it even if they download the leak now. I know I will. I mean, come on, this board is mostly made up of people who spend all their time bitching about new Ministry releases… You gotta be pretty loyal to still stick around on a Ministry board if you hate their new music

even if I download a Ministry album, and hear it many times before it’s released, I still get all nitty gitty and excited when I go to the shop and buy it on release day [cool]

wow, i’m actually impressed with the album… i kinda stopped listening to music like this a few years ago, but this sounds good. some of it doesn’t sound like ministry at all and had me doubting whether is was real or not, lol. it actually has some really nice touches on some of the songs, glitchy breaks, bits of synth etc. nice one [cool]

And sorry for not putting any more info, as it was such a late hour here in europe, and i had to go to sleep. I´m going to have a listen to it when i´m back from work. And i´m a big Slayer fan, can´t wait to hear it full!
Oh, and i´m buying it definetely, as i have bought every album from Twitch onward (didn´t care for WS, TOO sugary for me.)
Anyone have the correct track listing? It’s just, you know, that these tracks are untitled, and every post I can find about it lists 10 songs…while I just downloaded 13. So what be up there, scooter?
Also, every time something like this happens, I can’t help but wonder who was the punk-ass that leaked it, you know? If Angie (or Mrs. Jay) is to be believed (and why wouldn’t she be?), there are only ten or so copies out there at the moment…so what motherfucker had the temerity to be all like “No, I think it should free!” I mean, I appreciate it, but I could have waited. If Al were to hand me a cd and say “Here’s the new album, duder, guard it with your life,” none of you would ever know. Period. That’s to brag about after the fact, yes? I don’t know, call me crazy, just seems like a confidence has been broken…and this happens with EVERY major release anymore. Who the hell is spreading this stuff around?
Tracks 11-12 are blank. Grab the tracklist off the web. Pretty damn heavy and angry. I like it, there are some nice turns. More metal than Mole as well.

Yeah, my bad. The official (or what I call “official,” since it’s posted here in the discography) track-listing is correct. Numbers 11 and 12 are your “smokescreen,” meaning they give a lead-in to the hidden track, or 13. I’d like to review the album, but as I’m still ingesting it, you’re all on your own. Deal with it, bitches.
My only valid comment would be something along the lines of “Yo, this here slab o’ metal don’t be lettin’ up. At all. Guard yer eardrums, iffin’ you care about yo’ hearin’.”

Word, there is some slammin double bass. GReat Satan sounds more “analog” and I like it better.

I’m only five tracks in, and I feel like I’m being bludgeoned by my headphones. Easily the fastest, heaviest Ministry album to-date. The only thing in common with Mole so far is the Bush samples, which aren’t too annoying. I have a strange feeling that a lot of the Mole-haters are going to like this album. I’m gonna need a few more spins before I give my opinion of the album.

Yeah sorry guys I uploaded it before changing any of the filenames. I figured it wasnt a big deal and everyone can do it for themselves. Interestingly, it seems like somebody was using French windows to rip these things. So the leak was either in France or Canada?
