paul raven dead :(

I posted this on PA and thought I’d post here as well. My feelings on Raven and how I remember him.

The last time I spoke to Raven was about 2 weeks ago, He asked me if I was going to go to Chicago again next year,as that would be the party of all parties!

He enjoyed life, he was a funny guy who kept in touch and was genuinely interested in others daily lives. He was a cookie monster with a passion for Jammie Dodgers and Guinness.
Excited about all the music projects he was in, had a lust for life that was unquenchable.
I didn’t know him well enough to call him a friend but on the many occasions we did talk he had a knack of making you think you’d known eachother forever, laid back and loved to have a giggle, awesome sense of humour even though he was a brummie

Words cannot express how sorry I am to his family and those that knew him best, a true beacon and inspiration.

I will always look fondly at that last mail I got from him asking about Chicago, as that was what he loved, living life to the full.

Peace be with him, and thoughts for his family and friends.

RIP to a huge talent.

He was taken away far too young - my condolences to his family and the band as well.

RIP, Raven.
I’ve been listening to “Washingmachine Mouth” over and over again… my little tribute of sorts…
