Weird. In Canada, the Interscope edition of PHM has always been readily available on CD. I could easily go out and buy one today if I needed to.

After seeing what Al has recently done to some of his classics with his shitty remixxxes, I hope he just leaves the old material alone. At this point in time the less Al has to do with Ministry the better.

I believe Pretty Hate Machine was released on TV Toons records back in 1989. When TVT went bankrupt, the master recordings were part of the bankuptcy settlement, and I’m not sure who at that point gained ownership. Don’t know if this is also related to the dispute Trent had with his former manager. One of the reasons why “Closure” will likely never be released on DVD.
