Unfortunately for you, I’m not angrily bitter (yet) however, this week I do seem to have the proverbial “bee in my bonnett” actually, I just feel like poking fun at the new kids on the block (revco)

remember !! I was asked to contibute to the last record, but I’d forgotten all the titty jokes I knew when I was in high school, so I had to decline

I don’t care if you’re bitter. i was just observing.(that reads snide but it’s not). As one of the first on the board to read your book I say if anyone has the right to be bitter, you sir, are justified. those were just the questions that went through my head. I remember reading you were asked to come back. although I can’t say i remember the reason you gave for not accepting…(new life?..no need to rehash the past?.. not wanting to be tooled around by al?.. record store business exploding?..all valid reasons!)
I can certainly see why you would or could poke fun at the new band. why don’t they just create a new band name? REVCO already has a legacy. no need to drag the name around still if none of the members that created that legacy are still involved!
You got to admit though, these new guys might have “the right stuff! Uh Uh a oh a oh, the right stuff!”

Yeah this is the second interview this tour where he mentions Richard 23 by name which seems like more times than in the last twenty years combined. I happen to like Richard’s singing on the first album, but it doesn’t hold a candle to Chris, or Luc for that matter. The live version of You Often Forget is one of my favorite Cocks tunes definitely a high point of the YGDSOAB video.
