Wel…if nothing else, this album will fit nice and snugly on all yr shelves at home - just slot it in somewhere between Nada Surf and Orgy.
I’m guessing you’ve all done this before?

You would know who Nada Surf is, wouldn’t you Mr. Conformity?
Still haven’t been game enough to give this album a spin - and this is coming from one of maybe twelve people in the world who loved The Fragile.
I been waiting too long for this for it to be a crushing disappointment. I think it’s safe to say, based on the info I’ve come across, that this is not the album I was hoping for.
I’d disagree. I think this IS the album you’ve been waiting for, but it’s one that you’re going to have to take the time to listen to a few times. It doesn’t really hit you that well on the first few spins, but after a few times in the player you’ll realize just how good the album really is and the rest will be history. =)
It’s honestly the best thing I’ve heard from Trent since… Broken or Further Down The Spiral, IMO.
Peace!

I have listened to this CD nonstop since I got it. I just saw NIN on Friday night and all I can say is “Wow.” But in all honestly, I love With Teeth. I think it is one of the best CDs I’ve picked up in a LONG fuckin’ time. Usually most CDs I get last about a day before they get the boot out of my CD player. But not this one. I may be in the minority, but I agree that this IS the CD I have been waiting for. Yeah, Yeah, Yeah I love the aggressive stuff too, but I find that I really appreciate Trent’s work more and more as I get older. I dunno, I just really like it, it definately grows on you the more you listen to it.
Yeah I’ve been holed up in a cave listening to With Teeth and i must say it truly grew on me.
I missed the industrial shit at first…but then it just kind of clicked…i like the new style just as much. Its still very much NIN and definitely the natural conclusion to the new direction in sound that the Fragile began. Its like with the Fragile he was shedding his industrial and electronic roots but it was a painful process or somthing…
Really cool stuff for the most part, although some tracks (“You Know What You Are” and the last two ones in particular) still havent grown on me.
Has it grown on anyone else who initially hated it>?
yea, it has grown on me, a little… still i dislike vocals very much.
