New Ministry album - MORALE HYGIENE

For me it’s not a matter of expectations, I just found the album very uninspired. Phoned in. I hope the “arena rock” album he’s now talking about hits my ear better.

I did the bandcamp 320 download for 10 bucks, definitely should have done the torrent instead.

Long live 2004 & before.

This al jourgensen project(s) is a mental letdown.

Give me a slow grinding scarecrow anyday.

I finally bought it last week but still haven’t listened to it.

Yes! Mailman came through yesterday! I like the overall sound of the album, a bit more mellow and experimental in nature again - I’d say the albums it reminds me of the most so far are Filth Pig, Dark Side and Houses. Not so much in actual content, but more in “vibe”, as Gunnar puts it. Overall very listenable, even the new TV song isn’t a throwaway; I liked that they went “surf” instead of “thrash” on that one. I also hear that I’ll need some time to come to a final “verdict” on Moral Hygiene, but so far, so good indeed!

It’s a fun album…digging it more with each listen…

Has this video been posted here?

I like it more than most recent Ministry vids…

I think it’s a descent record. I really like the Iggy Pop cover and the appearance of Jello Biafra is good news I hope.

First I’d seen the “Disinformation” video too.
I like it better than most recent Ministry videos too.
The close ups of the guitar fingerwork were really cool. And I think one thing everyone can agree on is… when in doubt, add Sriracha.

Hell yeah, the Iggy cover turned out to be really good after a few listens! Jello track also rules, and in general the last half of the album is pretty solid!

Yes. Agree with that. I’d like to hear those song live…

For me it’s just foil. And useless foil. Radical? None.

The last three albums released prior have been like shit shits compared to even classic era Ministry low points and their fifteenth full-length, picks up where AmeriKKKant left off. That is, boring regurgitated potato. No matter how you pronounce it.

Make America great again? Yeah, burn this shit and no mistake.

Moral Hygiene has me in stitches. And why not. I’ll brag, ha ha ha.

After sitting through this 47-minute slog fest, I never want you surely don’t want to hear another word about the Trump presidency or goons or his love of state sponsored authoritarianism. And the final song dips straight into the AmeriKKKant territory and sours the experience).

I’d rather go full bush, Sasha. Now, watch while I let rip.

Final verdict: Better than Amerikkkant. But still nowhere close to the awesome From Beer To Eternity, which is one of my favorite Ministry albums ever. The biggest surprise of Moral Hygiene is that the Iggy cover is a real grower - I was kinda lukewarm to it at first, but now i love it!

Prongs always has the worst trolls…well except for the Australians…

Snufkin sure hit that nail on the head.
Even al said in a interview…same ole shit different cover.
Everything post barker is shit 100%.
Only a desperate hanger on would listen let alone buy that crap.
But to each his own right queer bait (i bet).

“Desperate hanger on”?..hahaha where do you come up with this stupid shit?..it’s fucking music, dude…

Go put your red hat on backwards and listen to your Limp Dick Biscuit, troll…

I kinda, half think, for shits and giggles, that these “people” are Al trying to get someone/anyone to defend and say good things about his record.
I Personally think Moral Hygiene is pretty good, but probably not as good as Amerikant, but better than Beer To Eternity and miles ahead of Relapse.

That would at least be funny…unlike these boring broken record trolls who just repeat the same shit over and over …

Yeah. Ha ha. I laugh with my friends and think ‘maan, what what happen if these trolls and their stupidity spread like wildfire?’ Kalle and Fidan I see them nod and smile. Naa. Better to drink more Sima, laugh and smile and ignore their own foolish.
Go Suomi.
