I’d say Godflesh are more popular now than they ever were at any point during their lifetime.
If the market is there, why not cater to it?
Broadrick can still do ‘angry’. He still has it in him to make another Godflesh album.
How awesome was that Greymachine project? That’s how I always hoped Godflesh would sound like on future releases. Weird, fuzzy, fucked up and menacing as all hell.
Then they’d go and let me down by releasing awful pieces of shit like Hymns and Us And Them.
Much rather a new Greymachine album than a Godflesh record, but bring it on regardless.
