google and firefox keep alerting me telling me that their site is malicious. that’s gotta suck for them.

jizzwad, if you read all this crap regularly, recall that i posted a while ago that the TKK show in austin was a-ok. and that frank’s been SOBER for a while. AND that i saw him at the band’s hotel there ,opening the door wearing nothing but a towel and lots of attitude. granted, he and i are old drive-by buddies.
give frank a break and by all means, don’t offer alcohol.don’t want to kill one of my friends.
but I think their best work is definitely the “Kooler Than Jesus”/“Cuz It’s Hot” EPs. They’re both a great balance of darkness and groove.
When I used to dj I’d try to play Shock of Pt. 6, but it never took off with the crowds. They all just wanted to hear freaking Days of Swine and Roses again (and again and again and again).
Glad Frankie’s sobered up. I’d like to see a reunion of the big early '90s lineup when there were like 7 people in the band.
invisiblerecods.com had the cult of luna for free about a week ago… all you had to pay for was shipping… it’s definately a good cd worth checking out… the problem oi had with some of these re-releases is that you can’t really tell if there really IS any remastering done and the one or 2 bonus songs don’t really warrant the cost of paying for a new copy.
Hmm… maybe I should’ve started a new thread for my question rather than reviving an old one. So I’ll re-ask in case it gets buried again: Does anyone have information about the bonus tracks on the Ryko reissues?
I’ve also noticed the “this site could be damaging to your computer” message about the official site. That is pretty amusing/irritating.

“DoS&R” is some good stuff, but I’d definitely take “Shock…” over it anyday.
“BOW DOWN - WORSHIP ME - AND I’LL GIVE YOU EVERYTHANG - AND I’LL GIVE YOU EVERYTHANG!!!”
As for the bonus stuff, mqhanlon, I’ve been doing some heavy Googling on the matter and I’ve come up with nothing special… or anything at all.
Damned internet and its secrets…
Yeah, the closest I’ve found was a dead link to a site that apparently had information. So I guess it’s out there somewhere. Thanks for the effort though.

What causes that message, anyway?
1002
I’m assuming it’s because rock n’ roll is evil, and will lead to corruption of your computer, playing of Dungeons & Dragons, and eventually the murder of your friends.
Alas poor Gazzer Gygax, he reigns in dirt these days.
The day that man rolled a 1 on his Fortitude save was a tragic one, for sure.
It’s time to necro a thread here (which to be fair isn’t so much a rarity but I am necro-ing with additional comments rather than just to delete something I wrote 15 years ago - so bonus points to me!)
Wax Trax just did a reissue of TKK’s “Sexplosion” and for anyone who is a fan “Any Way Ya Wanna” the previously unreleased track from that era is fucking gold: Sexplosion! | My Life With the Thrill Kill Kult | Wax Trax! Records
It’s my favorite uncovered Wax Trax gem since “Animal Nation”
My vinyl hasn’t landed yet, but I’m looking forward to it.
I really love Dirty Little Secrets, though I believe it wasn’t too well received by fans. Listen to it in my car quite a bit.
I have Confessions Of A Knife on vinyl and Sexplosion on cd. Other than that I’m not overly familiar with their back catalogue. I’m pretty sure those two are the “ones to get” anyway.
Dirty Little Secrets was Lords of Acid.
Edit:
Never mind, Our Little Secret was Lords. Derp.
I’ve never heard Lords Of Acid.
Lucky you.
They were interviewed in Florida by a nervous college intern circa 1989. He came out of the interview freaked out by how weird and Satanic they were, and then went on to become Marilyn Manson.
