That’s precisely why I want to get his comprehensive write-up. We need more good Ministry fan fiction.

That set list includes the majority of In Case, so that’s cool. IMO Ministry is broken past the point that a halfway decent set list doesn’t fix them for me, but I still hope that people enjoyed the burger and the show.

On a side note, I listened to Keys to the City today. It’s a strange thing listening to what was once my favorite band do an attempt at a jock jam… I was also surprised by just how much I hated Bradford’s voice, I remembered liking him better than that.

Bradford never sang So What

“Hero”?

I’m surprised by the set list. If I had been there I would have been pleased, especially with Breathe.

Yeah, I missed breathe the first time I looked over the list. looked like the same set but with missing and deity. but breathe changes everything!

You guys are killing me. Al can’t win for trying. It seems like the only thing that would’ve satisfied you guys was a setlist of ICYDFLSU followed by a selection of deep cuts from DSOTS and FP. Of course, the encore would’ve consisted of “Everyday is Halloween” and some shit off WS.

Yeah, I think Keys to the City is a throw away song, but c’mon, they played some awesome shit last night.

Haha! Yeah, I was pleased to see he went through on his promise to throw in some old classics. And I heard he was in good form for the gig, so that’s great. Would we all love to see even MORE changes to the setlist to include our personal faves and forgotten cult gems? Of course. But that being said, this is the most excitement and newsworthy Ministry development in ages.

I really envy the people that got to see this gig . . . especially if they got free tickets with a kickass burger.

I’m not complaining either. Wish I could have been there.

“Keys to the City” was the song that had never been played live before. I’d be interested in hearing what it sounds like with Al doing the lead vocals.

WOW!!! That is the most spirited and clear Jourgensen I’ve seen in a long time. I really hope he stays on track and gets his crap together. Perhaps having the librarian take control of this dude is for the best.

Anyway, as much as I rip on all the uber-douchey lamebrain crap that the Ministry camp and Al pulls, I do want him to be healthy and even succeed (if he’s actually DOING something besides begging).

That crowd, though . . . . they just seem like the most unfun and boring bunch of tools ever. Have they ever been to a NYE party before? They’re all standing around like stunned deer. You’re supposed to be high-fiving everyone and hugging strangers and . . . . well, not looking like retarded golems.

Also, it looked like zero chicks came out to the gig. It was apparently one giant sausage fest. That sucks. I’m never there to try and score or anything, but I really do appreciate a mixed crowd and the chance to talk to and party with some pretty girls . . . and even the ugly ones.

Anyway, let’s see what 2016 brings for Al and Ministry.

Hero? Blasphemy!

Concord Music Hall’s facebook has clips from the show and a few more soundcheck photos.

NWO isn’t all that bad actually but what happened to the signature guitar solo? And the looped sample of “Heh, Heh, Heh, Heh…” is missing too??

Have the Lollapalooza performance of NWO on CD & it fuckin kills…dat set was so good, Miki Berenyi of Lush got her pussy moist…Al definitely fucked her. [:P]

It died.

Fuck off, Dean. You say anything else untoward about the chicks in Lush and I will literally crawl threw the Internet and fuck you with a coofin guitar. Shit head.

yeah…I officially withdraw my open call for Ministry fan fiction on this board. That was a pretty gross image with which to start the day.

Miki Berenyi circa 1992 could have had her pick of any alt-culture dude she wanted, somehow i don’t feel Al was at the top of her list.

I’m not too familiar with Lush but was there supposed to be a collaboration with Jourgensen and Berenyi after that lollapolooza tour? I wonder what happened.

Lush was way cool in my book. Particularly, their first two albums. Kinda ethereal-post-punk-pop, for want of a better description. Robin Guthrie of Cocteau Twins produced some of their early stuff.

Never heard about a possible Ministry collaboration. That coulda been interesting.

It was a slippery slope. We can revisit the idea again at a later date.

Total babe and Emma what’s her name. You know they’re reissuing the catalog and I think doing some touring again. I think it’s taken them 20 some years to get over their drummers suicide. That was a major bummer.
