You’re just dumb. Your posts attempt to be funny or edgy or whatever the fuck, but they’re really not. So, when anybody replies to you (Instead of just ignoring you as I’ve seen quite a bit of too) and you don’t understand it, it’s probably a safe bet for you to just presume they’re calling you dumb.

NIN doing the Superbowl would be a long shot. I don’t think Reznor would have the slightest bit of interest in doing it unless they offered a retarded amount of money but it’s fun to think about and I’d welcome it.
I recall NIN performing at the MTV music awards in the late 90’s. They looked like a buncha corporate queers so I don’t buy the argument that they’re too dark or edgy for casuals. Reznor is a chameleon, he can morph his way into any genre any venue any setting.
I think the closest NIN came to mainstream TV (barring their episode of “Austin City Limits” and their appearance on “Twin Peaks”) was just after they played Woodstock. Letterman couldn’t shut up about them. Said they scared the pants off of him. For about a week, there was a lot of rampant speculation that Trent and co. would play Letterman’s show. Obviously (thankfully?), it never happened.

One of my neighbors (I’ve never seen the guy/girl) is obviously a HUGE Maroon 5 fan. I know this because of his/her car which would be sometimes parked outside. It was a shitty Corolla or something, but they had on the sides and on the hood and back . . . “MAROON 5” in humongous decal letters. It always cracked me up. I mean, I don’t give a shit what anyone is into, but I just don’t expect that level of weird visible fanaticism amongst such a group.

I don’t think I’ve ever heard a song of theirs. I’ve seen shirts and stuff but I’ve never bothered to listen to them. I just assume they’re like every other alterna-band out there. like 30 sec to mars or some crap. Apparently the lead singer sang on slash’s debut solo album. Gotten: it’s a pretty good song

I honestly don’t know if that was theirs. They had a few monster hits 10-15 years ago, I think, which I can’t for the life of me recall, but are probably those, “Oh, right, THAT fucking song!” type of songs.
