That post wasn’t directed specifically at you…And you cannot deny the PA has little do with Ministry, and there are lots of flamewars going on there.

You won’t find many posts that interest a lot of people on there. In fact, PA is not even Ministry related that much. It’s just a forum that’s out there and is related to nothing much else than posting useless/dirty posts and pictures, and slamming one another. This, on the other hand, is a forum with a specific topic on hand. As I said, if you want to discuss it, then that’s fine. Otherwise, don’t bother.

Look, if you want to further debate, people don’t care on here. You’re not going to start a huge debate and stuff, because, well, people don’t give a shit here, what you think. That may sound elitist, but it’s true. People here want to find information, discuss music, etc. Go to the ETS if you want elitism [;)]

Pissarmy is the only online community I’m part of besides Pisstake, so I obviously like it & it’s members… But you know as well as I do that I bitch about it all the time. As a matter of fact, I wasn’t even around when the band deserted the PA. I had no internet access and wasn’t around for the BS that must have gone on because I moved internationally etc. In case you didn’t know, I wasn’t part of that whole thing.

Nah, I hadn’t heard too many stories about it. I figured she didn’t like the attention the piss pervs were giving her. I did hear that Blake was PMing her and that had something to do with it, wether it’s true or not I don’t know.

I only brought up the member thing cuz you got all snobby and were making cracks about the PA. The only reason PA isn’t so MINISTRY related is because it’s already a well established community in which people converse about non-MINISTRY stuff, not to mention the lack of band news. The MINISTRY section of the PA has nothing but MINISTRY related posts, does it not?

Removing the"PISS ARMY" thread!!! What a weird decision; Why don’t you remove all the people members of the PISS ARMY. You can’t say we should stay separate but we must or have to stay separate.
You know, I post on the PA and time to time in here. It’s me who mention the cinderblock.com site in the merchandise thread for instance. Furthermore I’m not here to flame anyone. There is also stupid thread on prongs; remember this one : “what’s your favorite beer?”. Maybe starts by someone from the PA?[;)]. To sum up the thing, we are all human beings before members of the PA or PRONGS, we’re all different so …

I removed it simply because of the content. It had irrelevant posts and images all over. It has posts insulting this forum. As I said, anyone is welcome here, but don’t try to get too off topic. Yeah, there are a few silly threads on here, but people don’t slander one another or go crazy…

It’s amazing how effectively “knuckleduster” is proving afra’s point.

Listen up: afra is pretty much responsible for Ministry’s worthwhile presence on the web. He does a great job with the official site (and without him it is unlikely you’d have your precious Piss Army; he is responsible for setting up the current one) and he has been running ministry@prongs for around 11 years now, which is an excellent, comprehensive archive of Ministry-related information. Without prongs, I (and I’m sure others) would have never even been aware of any of side-projects and as a result, Ministry owes more than a few record sales to him and the other contributors. So show a little recognition and respect.

Also, seriously, Piss Army has had at least two moderators quit on it now, and the band has quit on it. Doesn’t that tell you something? All anyone was implying was that it would be preferred if these boards didn’t end up like that.

My two cents about ministry@prongs…

This site is one of the more complete sites about a band that I still visit regularly since years (7-8 years).

The only other example about such complete band site that comes to my mind would be godflesh.com…

Yeah, one of the really cool things about prongs is that its stayed (relatively) small and has been (excepting stupidweed/Lorax) free of retarded flame wars. I’m all for keeping it that way, even if that means hurting some feelings.

Dear god… Ok. Stop this now, PLEASE. This is a retarded thread. I’ve been coming to this place for almost the entirety that it has been on the web. I’ve made well over 1000+ posts on here over the years. I don’t say much, but when I do it’s because it’s either important to the group, who has also been here for several years, or it’s at least something of pertinant value to myself or other members of this board and is generally on the topic of Ministry or something easily related. Yes, we have had planety of stupid and silly threads here over time. Yes, we have had a few flamers and flame wars, but this place has NEVER been anything like PA, nor will it ever be. Not, at least, while me and many of the other old schoolers still come here. Afra and several other people that are on this board (myself included) practically gave up half our time over the years to make this page and forum what it is today. It has always been a small group, and some might say that we are elitist, but we aren’t. It’s just that this place has always been about COMMUNITY, and the fact that we all have something in common, our profoundly deep love of Ministry’s music. Carrying on with this thread is just perpetuating what has already happened over at PA. I don’t see where anyone here has been offensive to anyone EXCEPT Knuckleduster with his whole “fuck prongs” and other things, so why is anyone getting pissed and continueing to post on this thread? Just do like we always have. Ignore the person and the thread… We’ve done it for eons now, and that is how we have kept this place the best place on the 'net to find and learn and discuss anything about Ministry and anything ther’re related with.

And Knuckleduster… I’m not trying to be a dick or start nothing with you, but you need to learn some proper damn respect. If it wasn’t for Afra and the “5 other people” on this board you wouldn’t have any place to go online to know anything about Ministry or even post these kind of things. You want to come over here and talk music and other sensible things and be a real person, then fine, we’re happy to have you but the big thing here is the fact that everyone shows RESPECT to the other members, even if they have differences of opinions on anything. And not a single one of us would be the asshole that you have been to Afra because we know for a fact the time and effort and dedication that he has given to the band, to us, and to many others out there. Chill out and be real, or just leave. Please. It’s not worth our time or yours to be so ignorant when posting.

Thanks guys for the support and I truly appreciate the kind words. It’s not just me - it’s also all you guys with the information, help and effort that we just put together on one site…

We don’t have any problem with people from PA coming over here (after all, there are a few). That’s not a problem at all - it’s just that the philosophies of two boards are different and it doesn’t seem like anyone wants to mix them up, that’s all.

But Knuckleduster, we aren’t elitist. You are the only one who seemed to come that way with the “fuck Prongs” post. No-one insulted/swore at you, and that’s exactly what I mean. As others have said, you are only making my point! You, someone from PA, came here and within your 6th post, you post “Fuck Prongs”. We don’t want that here. If it was to start up a flame war, that won’t work here.

Prongs is by far the coolest forum site out there more tolerant than anywhere, its THE only forum i haven’t been kicked off of, ive been thrown off of everything from piss army to yelp.

Absolutely proud as hell of it too, i dont type with emotion but its killer fun when they read with emotion!

I like both forums (Piss Army and Prongs) and have made some really great friends through both.

I never understood the PA v. Prongs rivalry. It just seemed like a big pile of emo faggitry to me.

PA made me cringe in that it was full of people expressing themselves in ways that made me not want to like Ministry or that scene in general. It’s kind of like being all up on being “industrial” or “goth” and then finding this:
