Many thanks to Elricj for that link. Looking forward to hearing this finally. Weird how it never got released at all. I guess Barker maintained the rights to this, otherwise someone would have put it out for a cash in surely?

The vocals are really nasally, at least on Sweetest Kiss. and I gotta say he sounds flat. Glad I lost my $500 bid for low and slow last year. Glad I’ve finally heard it. though. thank you Elric.

The issue, as I think someone noted before, is the songs aren’t the right speed. there was probably a clocking issue during the transfer, between 44.1 to 48 is my guess…maybe this had something to do with they vinyl not being released??

I’m a mixer/engineer/mastering engineer. I took the album version of lunatic/Genious and compared it to this version, and this version is about 1BPM faster. Using that info, I slowed all three songs down to their proper speed and gave them a little mastering love. If people are still interested maybe I’ll upload a link.

how did you find this anyway?, i had been looking for this for years, no thanks to Bisquit o gloom

also for those who care, for some reason these are in mono also…i couldn’t fix that, but did resolve the speed issue as well as give it some mastering EQ and Volume.
