I like a lot of what you do and understand that this was sponsored by a fan, but still, kind of embarrassing,
Oh lighten up! It’s all in good fun. I enjoyed this song a lot!

Happy you enjoyed it! I just wish you’d actually done the song instead of a quick ass acoustic cover. I think with synths and stuff it could sound good but to my ears it just seemed half assed.

I found this approach to be more interesting because the song had some dark and moody undertones that I wanted to bring out. I don’t think it was half assed so much as making it my own, completely different version to the original.
your vocals are getting better dude.
I thought you did a good job. I think whoever paid $100 got their money’s worth.
Thank you! And hell yeah they did! A good amount of work went into that cover!

Thank you! Touring and taking my singing seriously has improved my performance. I like doing this stuff too cuz it challenges me as a vocalist.
The relative nudity of a quasi-acoustic thing like this presents a lot more challenges vs a super produced thing.
I think we should pool our money together and get Void to go a cover the Spin Doctor’s “Two Princes”… for Gunnar of course.

I think even I, in my pauper state, would pay 100 bones for a cover of “Two Princes” done in a miserable dirge style like Coil’s cover of “Tainted Love.” Nothing faster than 2/2 time of course.
The caveat is you cannot pick the style, merely which song we cover! This enables me to make it my own.
We’ve been paid to do Radiohead “Creep” and a few others, “I’m Too Sexy” by Right Said Fred and something by Bloodhound Gang…kind of dreading all of those but it should end up fun.
321 Contact.
hell yea!
Booyahhh!!! 321 Contact was the shizzie, mah nizzie!

CONTACT!!!
Yeah, we should pay Void to do the 3-2-1 Contact theme instead.
Man, that '70s wakka-wakka guitar sound really needs to come back into style.
Haha! It does have kind of the same “get amped up for something huge and vague” feel that the DIANETICS commercials had.
All that frantic athletics and space . . .
Looks like a Soviet propaganda film or something.
“Please to join USSR super team. You well make gymnastic for Mother Russia or you will go on rocket ship for the sun. Enlist now for not to die.”
COME RAGE!!

You guys should do a cover of the 321 CONTACT song and call yourselves BLOODHOUNDS ON THE DANCE FLOOR.
Just sayin’ . . .
Blood on the Dancefloor looks like an '80s TV director’s idea of what a heavy metal band looks like.
Haha! I know, right?
Is there a cool promo pic of them waiting in the alley for load in . . . drummer sitting on his drum case tapping sticks on the rim, guitarist with his neon axe slung across his hip. Fluorescent headbands on everyone, van parked on curb and neon graffiti on a brick wall with words like “Rebellion”, “Angst”, and “Rage”.
