[reply]for some reason it doesn’t work for me either. i’ve tried that link for like 2-3 days in a row now and it just takes me to some random song.

just search his name in the soundcloud search bar if you really want to hear it.

good call, that worked.

i agree with grump, the lyrics aren’t really my cup of tea, but luckily you can’t understand a word :P. lol. i like the song, though. the music is cool, and the vocal melody is pretty catchy. is that actually you singing in the background at some point? sounds good.

Scott Weilend-esque tool of the week:

Manson-esque wannabe New York City “hipster”.

It feels like Peligro and grmpysmrf are merging… becoming… one.

Scott Weilend-esque tool of the week. definitely

Manson-esque wannabe New York City “hipster”. absolutely

“Pretentious” is one of my pet peeves. so the whole “interview” was horrible

“do you have any advice…” why that question? you haven’t made it. that’s something you ask somebody who has been in the scene for years and has made a decent living at it.

Late,
grmpysmrf

It’s like asking a homeless person to give life-skills advice to a college graduate.

you guys sound like old bitter tools :p.

al was a “hipster” in his day. look at my fucking avatar! so hip.

i just watched the interview. please tell me grump, how does he come off as pretentious? i actually thought he seemed really down to earth, which seems odd considering some of his posts. and if pretentiousness is a pet peeve of yours…how the hell are you a ministry fan? lol.

It was okay dude…I see you tagged queer…Is this gay music??

I think he’s just throwing that out there to see if Ani Difranco will sign him to Righteous Babe Records, lol.

Damn you Void, why did you have to go and make these catchy songs? You’ve made acid face dance and he’s supposed to be resting:

because he tries to act all deep by assigning way more importance to his tired answers.

Ye can rag on Void all ye want but he’s right about one thing:

If there’s one thing decent folk do, it’s STICK TOGETHER.

you guys sound like old bitter tools :p.

I don’t even read their shit anymore. The personal attacks are way overboard. I think people read way too much into the shit I post. It’s called sarcasm.

I’d give up the Manson shtick but that’s your bag.

Riot Boy - not too bad. Took a bit to finds its way but otherwise decent.

Necromancer - not so much

Black and Orange - this one I liked. Throw some barely audible vocals in and that would be the shit.

How does this song have anything to do with Marilyn Manson?

Thanks the other songs are older stuff so I took them down. Doesn’t reflect the new sound I’m going for. Neither does this demo really, but it’s sort of in that direction. I’ll be posting new stuff soon.

ABOUT THE SONG

Yes, the lyrics are wretched, and retarded. DUH! Do you people really think that I think these are cool lyrics??

Hence why I masked them with the trachea vocal effect robot crap. I was drunk and just did a stream of consciousness thing.

Personally more and more I’m sick of trying to write lyrics with “meaning”. It’s all bullshit anyway. It’s been more dada lately.

Regarding the vocals, I did the verses, and the groupie and my friend Stephen sang in the chorus. Stephen is the one who did the punk harmony background vocals that everyone seems to like.

As for the rest I did the beats/bass synth etc. and Stephen did the guitar. The girl just sang.

This song was done like 2 years ago in a drunken jam and recorded by the roommate who later tried to kill himself. I just now got around to mixing it.
