Most smart people lack common sense.
Very few of us have both qualities.
The technical part is easy, the people part is damn near impossible.

Thats where true smart comes in.

Many years ago, my boss asked me to make him a flow chart on when to do what analysis. I told him no because as soon as I do that you will kill someone because you don’t know any better than to blindly follow the flow chart. - Think of analyses as tools in a toolkit that are used to fix a vehicle, and I’m a master mechanic.
Which analyses I apply are on a case by case basis with too many variables to make a simple, clean flow chart. In reality, it’s more of a spaghetti model. My boss thought he was a master mechanic without ever seeing a vehicle or using a tool his entire life.
Not very smart is it? Why would you need a flow chart if you’re as smart as the person that made it?
Apparently fine… as of 6 mos ago
Not sure

There is a technique that is used with tiny homes where PEX tubing assemblies and manifolds are used for the plumbing and special electrical cables are ran that look very similar to extension cords.
Don’t they kinda do that now? Certainly the Amish do.
Concrete nails. I used to rent a pool house that was made out of cinderblocks. Hung my speakers and pictures with concrete nails
I’m sure there was insulation in the ceiling but the walls, no. The place had a gas heater which kicked ass.
Yeah, these are done in just over a day. that’s a huge difference.
They have actually started discussing this and are convinced this is the way buildings will go on the moon and mars when we get there.
My house is cinderblock…termites would destroy it otherwise. It has insulation and drywall inside.
Not all the older block homes have it inside though. Sometimes, the block is sealed and painted.
that’s how mine was
.
It did it’s job. I actually have fond memories of that little pool house. A kitchen/dining room/laundry room, a bedroom, a bathroom, and a living room. That place was the pad!
