Got Cock? is definitely a contender for turdiest turd. I finally bought “Sexxx-O Olympic-O” a few years back when 13th Planet was liquidating all their stock and CD’s were a buck a piece and gave it a fair re-listen. I had to admit that it was actually pretty cool and probably not deserving of the endless buckets of shit I dumped on it on principle. It definitely should’ve had a different name since it involved no actual RevCo members and even Al’s involvement just consisted of pointing to the rookies on the warm-up bench and saying, “Go make an album!” but it’s still pretty cool on its own merit.
I took full advantage of that going-away-sale on 13th planet too. I got myself this bunch of classy classics:
- Sex-O-Olympico
- Got Cock?
- Rio Grande dubya!
- The Last Dubber
- Mixxxes Of The Molé
- It’s always Christmas Time
On the plus side, the christmas single was decent, and “The Last Dubber” is actually better than “The Last Sucker”. On the downside, there are probably 5 good tracks scattered between the rest of these must-have releases. I forgot to buy the soundtrack to Wicked Lake which was pretty stupid considering I bought the rest of this mess.
Impressive, haha! “Sex-O” was the only one I bought from above. I did buy a handful of the covers stuff (“Undercover”, “Cover-Up”), Buck Satan, and a few that I just wanted to re-buy (like “Relapse”) for giveaways to friends. I also bought a bunch of other goofy shit like a messenger bag, bandanna, can coozies, “scarf”, etc.

Sex-O is better than Relapse. There, I said it. Jourgensen had minimal involvement with the NuRevco. And yes, Got Cock is bad. Redonkulously bad. Al was directly involved in the Relapse turd in the punch bowl and merely waved his hands around in a drunken stupor with RevCo. Relapse is easily the worst thing Jourgensen has foisted upon this world.

If I come across the “scarf” again I’ll show it off here. It’s hilariously flimsy. Basically a thin piece of 4" x 24" printed fabric. Imagine a piece of wide ribbon or the world’s cheapest napkin. It was like $40 originally, marked down to $5… and worth approximately 13 cents.
My friend gave me a “patch” from 13th Planet around the same time. I put it on my jacket and within a year it literally dissolved. I suspect the “scarf” would do the same if exposed to sunlight, rain, or air.
Ah yeah, I forgot about those cover CDs, I bought those too 
And the messenger bag as well - it looked cool, and worked fine for a while, but eventually all the seams burst, the zipper broke, etc. Stitched it together again with a stapler and some duct tape, but now it’s close to complete dissolution. I looked pretty cool when shopping for a while, though!
But basically you like it, right?

The sewage definitely wasn’t invited, nor particularly welcome. In fact, I can’t recommend it at all if anyone was thinking of trying out a sewer backup.
Haha! Sounds pretty punk now. I can’t give much of a review, actually, as it’s still in the plastic bag it was shipped in. I gave it a look when I first got it and it actually seemed fairly sturdy… but based on literally every other piece of branded merch’s performance I won’t be surprised to find a bag of dust and moth poop when I come across it again.

Thanks. I’ve got things pretty much cleaned up at this point, though I’ve got stuff everywhere. It could have been much much much much much worse. The folks across town are in a world of hurt. It’s higher elevation where I am it. We are only talking maybe two feet of elevation difference but that is enough to make it a fucking mess vs. $40K+ damage. I’m not at all happy about the situation but comparatively speaking I got a free pass. I didn’t lose anything that can’t be replaced (very very )fortunately.
Edit - I should add the city has spent something like $400 million to replace and redo sewer lines the last 5 years or so. It didn’t occur to the city leadership that while they have pretty much everything torn up to increase the capacity a bit. Because, you know, it’s a bit harder to add capacity when it’s all put back together.
