favorite ministry song

I think it’s actually clever writing.
The track’s full of believable simile and metaphor, conjures up strong imagery while being blunt and to the point.

I’m still interested in what makes you think the lyrics so awful though.
Quoting a line and tacking a sarcey comment on the end explains nothing really…

As of the past week or so, I’ve been playing “Hizbollah” a lot, so for now, I suppose it’s a favorite of mine.

Good choice! I especially like the live version on “Sphinctour.”

That’s what I was thinking of when I posted it.[;)]

Great minds… Heheheh.[:)]

Even though this wasn’t my FAVORITE track on “Filth Pig,” it DID something to the rest of the album and seemed to close it perfectly.
It’s just another one of those Ministry tracks that’s great because it’s so un-Ministry.

We Believe

(top5: We Believe, Move, Nature of Love, Just Like You, All Day)

Glad someone mentioned “Move”!

Here’s the Tackhead version of M.O.V.E., for those of you who haven’t heard it:

1002, you fucking RULE.
I’ve heard of Tackhead before, but never listened until now. I can definitely hear Adrian Sherwood’s handiwork in this (Reminiscent of Skinny Puppy’s "Stairs & Flowers [Dub], which I think he remixed).
Very cool stuff. Looks like I’ll be picking up a few Tackhead records soon!
“IT’S TACKHEAD TAPE TIME!!!”

Thanx 1002 for the move track

It’s time like this that you just wish that uncle Al would collaborate once more with likes of Adrian Sherwood…
…oh well! just wishful thinking on my part.

Very cool stuff. Looks like I’ll be picking up a few Tackhead records soon!

The album you’ll want to get is “Gary Clail’s Tackhead Sound System”, which is actually a sort-of Tackhead side project with Clail on vocals. If you have trouble tracking this down on CD (it’s been out of print for a while), let me know (PM).

A couple of tracks on here have samples heard on the Twitch album, too.
