I think it’s actually clever writing.
The track’s full of believable simile and metaphor, conjures up strong imagery while being blunt and to the point.
I’m still interested in what makes you think the lyrics so awful though.
Quoting a line and tacking a sarcey comment on the end explains nothing really…

Even though this wasn’t my FAVORITE track on “Filth Pig,” it DID something to the rest of the album and seemed to close it perfectly.
It’s just another one of those Ministry tracks that’s great because it’s so un-Ministry.
1002, you fucking RULE.
I’ve heard of Tackhead before, but never listened until now. I can definitely hear Adrian Sherwood’s handiwork in this (Reminiscent of Skinny Puppy’s "Stairs & Flowers [Dub], which I think he remixed).
Very cool stuff. Looks like I’ll be picking up a few Tackhead records soon!
“IT’S TACKHEAD TAPE TIME!!!”
It’s time like this that you just wish that uncle Al would collaborate once more with likes of Adrian Sherwood…
…oh well! just wishful thinking on my part.

The album you’ll want to get is “Gary Clail’s Tackhead Sound System”, which is actually a sort-of Tackhead side project with Clail on vocals. If you have trouble tracking this down on CD (it’s been out of print for a while), let me know (PM).
