EDIT: (Second) Earliest known Ministry Photo

Wempathy talked about doing a reunion show WITHOUT Al, but I guess nothing ever came of it. He would’ve had to find an appropriate singer anyway.

[reply]Sorry i got the date wrong:
Apparently live pictures taken March 12th or 13th, 1982?
Wempathy?

I think that Audrey only sang the first couple of shows, so March couldn’t be correct. When we took of for a couple of shows with Medium Medium, the band was already pared down to only 4…JD, Stevo, Al and me. That was in February I think.

Audrey would have sang backup on all songs I guess, though I don’t recall the entire setlist of the first show. I’m pretty sure that the photos of her up front with Al was when we did a cover of a funk song called “First True Love Affair” by Jimmy Ross.[/reply]Alright, cheers for the input! Man it´s a privilege to have members of Ministry history on the board!

Excellent. This made my day.

Absolutely! Thanks Wemp! You dig up some of the coolest stuff.

And I’ll never let him forget it.

Recordings of this have yet to surface, correct?

Al could’ve been wearing bloomers and a Scooby Doo t-shirt in this picture and he still would be about a zillion timer cooler than he is now (going by the recent Dave Navarro interview link posted here, for example).

I’d still be flipping out over hearing/seeing a reunion of the “original” band even without Al or a replacement singer. Just hearing some of the old tunes played again as instrumentals (or maybe with Shay Jones doing her bits) would be phenomenal!
