Apparantly at the concert before the terrorists opened fire, one of them shouted ‘allahu akbar’ and ‘this is for Syria’.
Fucking scum of the earth !
Well, all that matters is that they have faith, right? I mean, that’s what all these religous people tell me, christian, mormon, catholic, baptist… “Just so long as you believe…”
It seems to be working out great, right?

ISIS have come out and said they are responsible ano that it was retaliation for France’s military involvement against ISIS in Syria.
It’s ugly…especially considering the Allies were essentially supporting what turned out to be ISIS in the beginning of their attempt to overthrow the Syrian government.
You know ISIS are hardcore when Al Qaeda think they’re too over the top.
One can’t help but wonder if the Allies are responsible for the existence of ISIS due to our actions after the September 11th attacks in NYC.
We are never going to destroy ISIS. And sadly it is impossible to stop these attacks. To be honest I’m surprised there haven’t been more of these hideous atrocities carried out in large Western societies.
I’m sure of governments will now use this to justify their unacceptable behaviour overseas and create more hatred towards us and encourage more of these attacks. How about we just give these folks a large Islamic state which they run with a Sharia Law? It can be a large slice of land next to Saudi Arabia. If they’re not happy with that…then I give up.

So, yes, thank you very much Pentagon for enabling these assholes with the weapons and tactical knowledge that they need with which to slaughter innocents.
These idiots with their “enemy of my enemy is my friend” foreign policy never learn. Back in the 80s it was “oh, let’s arm the mujihadeen to bleed the Soviets to death in Afghanistan, what could possibly go wrong with that plan?” And now they seemingly have no ‘long view’ of what might happen by training and arming bloodthirsty radicals in order to achieve a short-term gain of regime change in Syria.
And then again, maybe seeding as much global chaos as possible is the objective of this shell game. Haven’t entirely ruled that out.
I’ve read a lot about ISIS in the last couple of years, and it does sound like they were a co-creation of several western governments, with funding from our “partners” in the Middle East. Basically it sounds like the aim is to make governments co-operate in order to fight this boogeyman outfit, thereby paving the way for the combined partners to assert dominance through terror on their respective nations, while reaping the benefits of the resources of the occupied countries.
I used to think it was a bit far-fetched, but it’s not really, that’s the sad thing.
Unfortunately inhumane acts like this happen almost everyday all around the world. But when it’s close to you, inflicted in people like you it’s though to deal with it.
No one I knew was there in Bataclan, but I have lots of friends who live in Paris, and I was planning to go there in the near future. Besides that I’m an Eagles of Death Metal fan, and already had a ticket for their concert here in Portugal in December. I’m sure, if I was in Paris this week I would be at that concert and that’s scary to think about it. It seems almost surreal.

Are Eagles of Death Metal popular over there. Kinda forgotten in the States now.

Queens of the Stone Age are very popular and I think EODM benefits from it.
Personally, don’t really care about their last albums but still think they’re super fun to watch.
And Death by Sexy is awesome. When I want to get in a good mood it’s the right album to listen.
All happened on friday the 13th if I’m not mistaken.
I really hope our next president does more to end ISIS. Sadly I feel like it would take another big attack on US soil for these bozos to actually do something.
You’re enjoying a rock show, having a good time and then absolute terror… It’s absurd, stupid and revolting.
I didn’t think that would have such an effect on me, but it did. It just puts it into such a real and unbearably oppressive perspective. These people are all having the time of their lives. Some have come far and wide to celebrate such an occasion with their friends, new and old. We go to shows with assumed risk. A fight might break out. I might get some bruised ribs in the pit. I might drink too much and puke, or get puked on by someone else who drank too much. Never do I go to a metal show and think, “Oh, and I should call my family too, because I might get blown up by a bunch of asshole terrorists.” And yet, that’s exactly what can happen. And did.
I suspect a cop. if you look you can see the other cops in riot gear. one’s just to the left of the tan coat. then there’s like 5-6 above him in the balcony, you can really only see their hands and faces/helmets since they’re wearing black.
the blood is gross but isn’t what bothered me the most about the picture. i noticed, what i think, is a pair of legs/boots coming out from under the soundboard table of someone hiding.
