I thought it was a hoax at first, too. But too many people have gotten sick since the announcement that Trump caught the 'rona. All of these people who got sick have different doctors, who have different assistants, and if they go to the hospital, they’re surrounded by nurses – that’s a lot of people, many of whom take the oath “first, do no harm” VERY seriously, and even if they all broke their oath, someone would have blabbed.
This is why I don’t trust conspiracy theories. Everyone has a big mouth. The cat always finds its way out of the bag, always.

Look, I hear ya’, man. And I generally take the same stance as you when it comes to Conspiracy theories. I only really entertain them for fun. Because rule of thumb is it takes too many people to pull them off and someone will talk, either out of guilt or bragging (they can’t keep secrets)… but that’s just rule of thumb, to say that SOMEBODY will talk is nonsense. People can keep secrets, look at “Deep Throat” that guy was a mystery until he outed himself 10 years ago. Nothing has leaked about the Kennedy Assassination. And the Biggee, Area 51, How long was that place kept secret before Lazar came forward?
But you’re right, mostly, about it. I remember sarcastically saying Pat Tillman was killed by friendly fire when they first reported he was killed and then made up that shitty story about him being this hero KIA. And they used it as a recruiting tool for what? 1 or 2 months before my sarcastic conspiracy theory was revealed to be true. So, yeah, more often than not conspiracy theories are bullshit, but when it comes to trump and his covid, this is where I’m at.
a. trump has been saying it’s a hoax for months now. Republicans follow him.
b. RNC high profile people are now dropping dead because of failure to take this seriously.
c. republican voters are dropping dead because of failure to take this seriously
d. They need a way to reverse course on the whole hoax debacle while saving face.
e. trump “coming down” with corona lets him reverse course with out saying he was wrong about about the severity of corona.

the virus decimates fat, old people and yet trump only had to go to walter reed for three days? He hasn’t quarantined for 14 days. There’s reports he runs around the white house with out a mask even after only being hospitalized for three days… wtf?!
There’s just too many factors that don’t add up here.

Also many doctor’s take their patient doctor confidentiality law even more seriously
So, all of these doctors for these different “Patients” really can’t say one way or another publicly about the status of their patient’s health. That would break doctor-patient confidentiality. No doctor is trying to lose their license over trump’s new lie, especially since it may do some good.
So, the President says “hey write me a note saying I have covid.” The people associated with the pres go to their doctors and say, “hey the pres wants you to write me a note saying I have covid.” You going to tell this pres “no?” Are you gonna go to a doctor that won’t say “no?”
If I’m wrong, then I’m wrong, whatever, but I think it won’t be too long before it comes out that this diagnosis is bullshit. "Oh, it wasn’t rona after all… but something that looked like rona " but who cares because their voting block are now wearing masks. That’s the goal of all this.
I was listening to the debate on my phone while BBQ’ing some dinner, so I missed the fly, unfortunately, but . . . and I say this not being a fan of hers, but Kamala mostly mopped the floor with Mike. He failed to even convince me he’s even a human.

Funny enough, the only reason we looked at the play by play was because I mentioned to my wife that I expected Pence to be destroying her since he’s a career politician and harris is basically a new comer. So, we looked it up and that seemed to not be the case. Good news for the country.

Ok I don’t know for sure that it isn’t a hoax but i would bet everything I own that it isn’t…ultimately i don’t like either candidate or the VP’s…lots to dislike about all of them(although some more than others),imo and I find it very sad that these people are the best we can do as a country…but not at all surprising…btw, I’m curious for those who don’t mind answering: who is voting by ballot and who is going to polls?

I completely understand. not liking candidates I just figured that’s the way politics worked. Since the 96 election I’ve never been excited about a candidate but twice. Obama and Bernie.

btw: 3 days at Walter Reed, considering his health and his age, is enough for me to make the inference that it’s nonsense… Unless, the government has access to meds and therapies that we don’t … I guess that could that be a thing. I don’t think the medical community would tolerate that, though.
