Sentenced to four years. Already served three, so thy think she’ll be out by the end of the month probably.
as the only person here with a criminal defense background…the jury did it’s job.as much as you like or dislike the system, get over it.i barely watched the MUCH repeated snippets about this case. who cares.there are thousands of cases every day which don’t get this notice.
btw, she will probably not spend another night in jail. the judge was generous.(probably because the prosecutors didn’t have a solid case)

Thank you!
She’s out next Wednesday according to my local “news” outlet.
Things are going to get rough when she gets out…

This is what I’ve been saying the whole time!!
Late,
grmpysmrf
who cares about this shit?
You.
No. YOU.
Quoting this article in its entirety because it is jaw-dropping how stupid people can be:
I’m not exactly sure why, but everyone in the nation, and perhaps even the world, seems to care about the Casey Anthony murder trial. Children get murdered all the time, and it’s always sad. For some reason, though, this particular case captured our attention more than any other in recent memory.
Still, tabloid sensationalism aside, since it’s big news, you can be sure the Republican presidential candidates and leaders have been asked to weigh in.
Some of them kept their responses vague and relatively classy. Take, for example, Mitt Romney, whose spokesman said, “Governor Romney offers his prayers to all victims of child abuse. The tragedy of the death of a small child shocks all decent Americans.”
Herman Cain went a bit further, and echoed his “no Muslims in my cabinet” message by saying, “I can promise you Casey Anthony and anyone else who I think might’ve killed their children will have no business in a Herman Cain administration.” That’s good to know, I guess.
Others, however, used the horrific case to peddle a political message, like Sarah Palin:
“Once again we see, with our nation in crisis, President Obama stands by and does idly nothing while an injustice is committed here in this glorious nation of ours. It’s almost strange that the president has not yet made one statement on the issue of the death of young Caylee Anthony. Why the strange silence, Mr. President?”
But none of the responses so far are as outrageously slanted and convoluted as Representative Michele Bachmann’s, which managed to somehow tie Casey Anthony, Attorney General Eric Holder and fundamentalist group the Muslim Brotherhood into one neat, stomach-turning package.
Said the candidate to Fox News’ Sean Hannity:
“Well, I’ve been visiting all the primary states, and I’ve been talking to people, and people all over the place are asking me, why, in Barack Obama’s America, someone who murders a baby who happens to be white doesn’t get punished.”
“And Sean, I’ve been on the front lines, and I know people are afraid not just of the massive debt created by the Pelosi-Reid government, they’re worried about the Muslim Brotherhood, which has clear ties to terror groups dedicated to creating a worldwide Islamic caliphate, and they’re worried that Eric Holder’s Justice Department isn’t going to do anything about it if the Brotherhood or another group comes for their children.”
There you have it, folks: a mother accused of murdering her daughter is like the Muslim Brotherhood, which apparently wants to come snatch American babies.
It’s crazy o’clock, do you know where your children are?
Holy crap, Dude! That was amazing. Can you send me the link for the article?
What exactly was Obama supposed to do or say about this case anyway?
I’d like to hear Joe The Plummer’s spin on the case.
My county. I feel for the people who’s lives are forever destroyed by her lies.
I watched a couple days of the forensics testimony due to it being very similar to what I have to do at work when bringing a dissenting opinion forward (CYA 100%). I found is absolutely fascinating how people skew the facts/data and get their egos bent out of shape. It was eye opening to watch “experts” in their field not be able to put together an air-tight explanation - that goes for the scientific as well as the prosecution professionals.
Very strong circumstantial evidence - your chances of winning the lotto and/or getting hit by lightning are greater than that entire sequence of events coming together. However, the definition of each of the murder counts is very very strict: Had the baby’s body been found immediately, I am 99% positive that there would have been a different outcome. The jury got it right this time.
Autopsy is a misnomer. There was nothing left to autopsy. At the point she was found, she was at the stage of forensic anthropology. Ever watch “Bones”? Water and humidity over time destroy biological and fingerprint evidence. The duct tape was contaminated in the lab by one of the lab employees. It also was not properly photographed with the heart sticker/sticker residue on it before it was destroyed.
Even I can tell you this: You cannot bag up a vapor sample and send it to a lab for analysis days or weeks later and expect it to still be a viable vapor sample. If they don’t know how to do vapor sampling, they better call the experts. Additionally, the mass spec machine doesn’t lie.
I don’t post here often (Peligro invited me a year ago), but Casey Anthony was born 20 minutes from where I live in Niles, Ohio.
Unless she undergoes intensive plastic surgery or moves to Yemen…that girl has about 3 months to live before someone offs her.

I completely agree.
read that her mom is now going to be charged with perjury.
Round 2 anyone
Late,

I saw on the news on Saturday about some psycho lady that tried to run some gal over . . . . . because she LOOKED LIKE Casey Anthony. Simple case of mistaken identity. Oops. My bad.
