Autographed With Sympathy found!

Honestly, All Day and The Angel are the only two tracks I could see pre-dating With Sympathy. He may have had melodies for some of the other songs at the very least, but the actual “sound” of Twitch can surely be traced back to the first Revco album and Adrian Sherwood. The remix of All Day is also slightly re-arranged. The remix has a synth line in the middle section that appears regularly in the original version. Also the original version doesn’t have the movie samples in the middle of the song.

[reply]The cover art was done by the same guy who did all of the Ministry album covers up to Psalm 69, interestingly enough.

Wow I never knew that. Weird I always had this feeling all those covers were somehow made by the same artist but wasn’t sure. I also really love the cover art to Filth Pig. I remember buying that album the day it came out and instantly thought the cover was one of the most anti-corporate and punk rock covers I’ve ever seen.

He signed a copy of the first I’m Falling/Cold Life/ Primental Wax Trax single for me when they did the meet & greet thing at the Culatour, showed it off to his band mates saying it was his first album.

That’s awesome! I’m glad he got a kick out of it. I’m certain he doesn’t see that one often, so I always wondered what his reaction would be. Thanks for sharing!

Funny he’d sign that but not WS. Personally I think the music on WS is way better than anything on that Cold Life EP.

He has a ton of gripes with WS, not just musical ones.

But he seriously needs to get over it. It was 30 years ago and a large portion of his fanbase still likes the album. At the very least, he got his foot in the door. I doubt Warner Bros. would have signed him if he hadn’t been an major label previously.
