Actually “Pwned” (pronounced Poaned) came from “Halo 3.” when ever somebody would suffer a humiliating beating the oppents would say “ooh you got OWNED” or “We raped your pussy” then it morphed into we “pussy own you” Which finally morphed into “Pwned” C’mon, Nerds on Xbox Live know nothing of Chess unless it’s “Battle Chess” and then they have to be old enough to Remember the Amiga Computer for that!
