Was thinking the same. He did share the details of his divorce but this may be going overboard.

But anyway I hope he recovers and is able to start life anew. Amlux, don’t leave us man! Don’t join the rest.

It sucked when Porkspam died and I wasn’t even on the forum that long to know him the way you guys did.

Wow. When and how did this happen? I only check this site maybe once every other week or so anymore since my son has been born, and even then I just stop by to make a smart ass post or two, but I thought Porkspam had posted pretty recently. Can someone fill me in?

Wow. That’s horrible. I only pop in and out of this forum from time to time and thought this was a thread for a band called Amlux or something as I don’t really pay very close attention.

I pray he comes through for his sake and for his family and all of you who are close to him.

I hope we see him back here soon.

This is all information he has shared with the board before - not information he has told me privately.

There was a thread some time ago, a ‘tell us the story of your life’ type thread and Amlux related a lot of that information in that thread.

I remember it distinctly because I said to him face to face once ‘Are you really okay with sharing that kind of personal detail?’ And he was.

Anyway, the good news is that it was NOT a suicide attempt and he is ok. The guy who relayed the news to me jumped the gun somewhat - must remember to slap the guy when I see him next. The meds he was on cause him to deep sleep or something. From what I hear he has fallen either off the bed or off the couch while in this state and he has hit his head rather dramatically and lain there unconcious until discovered in the morning.

From what I hear he is coherent but still groggy and is sitting up and talking. So it’s good news. And a major relief.

Hot dog!! That is a relief.

Didn’t Amlux post the story once of how his dad was killed by some woman who thought he was the father of her child and was stalking him? He was stabbed to death getting out of his car or something. At least that’s how I remember it. He did say that he had lost people close to him in terrible circumstances and how he had spent some time incarcerated. I remember thinking… man, this guy should write a book about those things!

Thanks for the update Olsen, and I am very glad that Amlux is recovering. If you see him or talk to any of his friends there let him know we are all thinking about him.

Wow. I just came across this thread this evening. Glad to know he’s okay. Would have sucked to lose another member to medications like that. I didn’t even know about Porkspam until now. Fuckin shitty, man. Only 28. Too many people have been taken from this world due to accidental overdoses or combinations. I hope Amlux recovers quickly.
