Al's cognitive decline?

al, before he completely loses it, needs to put in a call to his former compadre.
get that shit out of the way.

You mean the “hired hand”?
Late,
grmpysmrf

al needs to call a lot of fuckin’ peeps. he won’t.
he still doesn’t get the idea that this is a closed circuit. and you don’t piss people off.

…he heard “Obsession” by Animotion, and never looked back

Wasn’t that song released in 1985?

I don’t know the guy so I’m speaking from an outside, mostly ignorant guess of a point of view, but I think Al basically was an insecure guy who created himself a charecter, and slowly that role that he played become the real him.

al’s losin’ it…

if he keeps up with the wine consumption, he’ll die.
i hope wife #2 isn’t counting on that scenario

Why?

What is his daily alcohol comsumption like?

Do you know whether he drinks alot every day? I know he smokes alot - he’s alway puffin’ away on the ciggies in EVERY interview. He must smoke at least a pack a day.

That’s what i sort of gather; especially after reading CC’s book (which is fantastic). Reminds me of the whole
‘With Sympathy" argument. I know he was into that album! If he’d just say “Hey, it’s what i was into at the time, then i moved on”, then he’d make himself look less like a character (maybe). I’d still like to know what happened to cause him to start trashing Paul too. That guy deserves to have Alain’s respect to say the fuckin’ least!. Maybe Paul needs to write a book?

Maybe Paul needs to write a book?

Yep, it needs to happen.

Anyone know what he’s doing at the mo? Afra, any news on Hermes Pan front?

Welcome, Riverman.

Thanks! It’s lovely to be here…

I think he’s concentrating on his business. I can’t remember the name of the website, but he sells bass effects pedals and whatnot.

Word.

Welcome, new guy.

Al is funny.

Not funny ‘ha ha’ but…y’know…‘funny’.

and funny is a crutch.

He’s just a tired old man with nothing else to fall back on. I’m sure he’s got some nickels and dimes left from 69 and lolla, and everything early 90s. Why not just stop and lead the quiet life? Can’t, because he rather have the spotlight and release shitty or average albums that he contributed little to none to for a quick buck. I personally don’t think he needs it. I am curious for new Lard though. If it’s just Al and Jello it could be decent, even without Paul, but can Al really take a huge backseat like that, or will he get Sin or one of the nu-revco guys or both to contribute. It ISN’T Lard without Jello though, so I guess it doesn’t matter who plays.

guess you answered your own question.
no lard.

There’s always room for Jello.

always room for jello. yes.
i no longer have patience for al. none. zero. piss me off , uh take the heat dumdass.

Fuck that. I want some good music from the ex-Ministry members. The sound on Flowering Blight had so much potential if he found a good singer with charisma. I’d just love to see Paul playing sidekick again in a good band.

Well, seeing as Paul WAS half of Ministry (for the better part), i’d rather think of him NOT as a sidekick. My suggestion about a book was unrelated to the music aspect. His brains are still intact it seems.[;)]
