Yeah, but not permanently. I’m not implying that ministry’s going to carry on and die along with him. He’s going to reach a certain point where he won’t be able to keep up at all.
I wish he would bring back the “ever evolving” Ministry. The band was great when it was always re-inventing itself.
The new stuff isn’t bad, it’s just lazy. Al is more talented than the last 5 “Even harder and bad a55 than ever before!” records. I suppose you have the side projects, but those should have been ministry and the psalm 69 v35.0 records should have been the side stuff. Anyone else agree?
Not all of the bush trilogy was terrible. A lot of it was but not all. Each album had some great moments. If they were EPs it might have gone down a little better.

I liked Houses of the Mole quite a bit.
I listen to a few songs off Last Sucker and could even tolerate the album being played through (once in a while).
I NEVER listen to RGB.
I bought Cover-Up, skipped through it, put it back in it’s case and never listened to it again. Sold it to Amoeba for a buck or two.
And I refuse to buy ANY of the stupid ReMiXXX discs or anything by the Revolting Mocks/ RAMCO.
Anyway . . . . I think I’ll probably like about 1/3 to 1/2 of the tracks on the new CD and that’ll be plenty fine with me since I only listen to about 1 or 2 songs on most my CD’s anyway.
The Last Sucker is easily my least favorite of the three. Aside from Lets Go and Die In A Crash, I could care less. And I also liked Molé. If RGB were an EP or a single album mixed with TLS, I’d probably enjoy that stuff more.

Which side projects are you thinking of? The last couple RevCo albums were terrible, and Al was probably barely involved in them anyway.

Mainly things like the finer moments of Revco, PTP, Acid Horse, etc. I haven’t listened to much of the new Revco stuff, but did hear “Cousins” which had many hints of WS era Ministry. Al is capable of making different styles of music, but keeps going back to the Psalm 69 style when making Ministry albums. FP and DSOTP had some different/creative moments, but everything after that feels a big rehashed.
